[19] Future

It's been a year since Jisu joined SEVENTEEN. Now, they're a lot more well known around the world and have gotten greater opportunities. From World tours, International meet and greets, getting to help out the trainees in the company to getting three individual dorms for each unit.

Other than that, let's focus on Seungcheol and Jisu.

After awhile, Jisu decided to talk to Seungcheol about it. Unfortunately, Seungcheol admitted to using that as an excuse so that Rae would leave him alone.

But of course, Jisu's mind still lingered around.

She didn't have any particular feelings towards Seungcheol but she definitely knew that she felt some type of way when his name was called by other girls.

"Jisu-ah!" I hear someone call. I turn around to see Mingyu. "Ne?" I asked, giving him a small smile.

"You'll be having your first solo photoshoot tomorrow!" He says excitedly. I furrowed my eyebrows. "Really? What for?" I questioned.

My eyes widened as he grabs me by the arms and begins to jump. "You're on the cover of an extremely popular magazine!"

I squeal as he says this, not believing what was happening.

"I see he's already told you?" Manager-nim says as he steps out of his office. I nod excitedly. "Be at the studio by 1pm." He tells me with a firm nod, giving me a smile before leaving for his office again.

"Seungcheol Hyung really is our leader." Mingyu says, making me furrow my eyebrows.

"The original spot was for him but he insisted on giving it to you."

My eyes widened. "Why would he do that? I'm going to go find him." I said, shaking my head as I rushed off.

"Good luck!" I hear Mingyu yell.

Thanks Oppa, I'm gonna need it.

I began walking through the hallways before I hear a familiar voice, singing.

I turned into the corner, seeing Seungcheol with his earphones in as he sang along to one of our songs.

"Oppa." I called, tapping him on the shoulder. He removes one side of his earpiece and furrows his eyebrows as he turns around, only to smile as he sees me.

My heart melted right then and there and it felt like I didn't have anything to tell him.

"Uhm.. Are you going to tell me something?" He asks, snapping me back into reality.

"Oh, yeah! Oppa, why did you give up the solo shoot and give it to me?" I questioned, with a frown.

"Jisu, it's been a year since you joined us. You deserve this." He assures me. "Oppa, you deserve it too! You've been such a great leader to us." I said, crossing my arms.

"Aigoo.. You're cute." He cooed, patting my head and causing for me to blush.

"O-Oppa. You should've just taken the opportunity." I said, going back to the topic. "Jisu." He calls with a sigh, staring at me with a sincere smile.

I furrow my eyebrows.

"Do well for me.. okay? Can you do that?" He questions. "Oppa.." I said. "I believe you can do this, Jisu. I know you're scared. Trust me, if anyone should be doing this shoot, it should be you."

I give him a small smile, thanking him silently. To my surprise, he brings me into a hug.

My eyes widen at first as I stood there in his arms.

"I'm proud of you, Princess."
