[18] Rose

"Carats! Are you doing alright?!" Seungcheol shouts, earning a large roar from the audience.

I smiled, sitting on the edge of the stage as I eyed the audience. "Today, we'll let all of you get a little relaxed. Can we have everybody to sing the songs together?" Jeonghan asks.

"Ne~" The carats chorused, earning smiles from the boys.

I felt like I was a fan as well, watching in amazement as the boys fooled around on stage.

"Yah Lee Jisu, you're supposed to be with me, where'd you run off to?" I hear Mingyu scold jokingly.

The crowd laughs and squeals.

I stand up immediately, smiling innocently as I run over to him. "Oppa. What song will we be singing now?" I asked into the mic.

"Adore U!" Seungcheol, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Mingyu, Wonwoo, Seokmin, Woozi, Seungkwan and Minghao responded in unison, causing the crowd to laugh.

I shrugged, satisfied with that answer as I smiled, facing the crowd again.

We all fooled around on stage as the song played, letting the fans see our true selves. They weren't used to seeing us like this.

Usually, the boys were only like this during lives, but other than that, they were pretty civilised.

As for me, I'm still pretty normal during both those times. I'm the same person on stage, during an interview, and at home.

I realised that I had been zoning out when Mingyu nudges me. I sang my part with my gaze lost somewhere in the crowd.

To be completely honest, I didn't feel like I belonged. Like something wasn't right.

"You okay?" Seungcheol asks as I realised that Mingyu was no longer sitting next to me.

They switched.

"Yeah.. Just thinking." I responded, nodding immediately as I put the mic away from my mouth.

"Don't think so much. Have fun." He says, offering a hand to help me stand up. I take it, standing up and walking with him to the middle of the stage where the other members were going towards.

"Unnie! We love you!" I heard.

I was the last one to leave the stage and of course, the carats' sweet words made me turn back.

"I'd like to thank all of you so much.. I know this may be an odd time to say this especially because we're all supposed to be happy and enthusiastic." I confessed with a chuckle.

"Thank you for your support and for trusting me with this chance. I'll work hard and show all of you what I've got. Thank you Carats!" I said with a final bow.

The crowd cheers.

I smile, walking off stage to join the rest.

"I did not see that coming." Minghao confesses, giving me a thumbs up. "Expect the unexpected, right Noona?" Dino asks. I nod, giving him a smile.

"We're here for you, Jisu. You don't need to doubt yourself. You're doing amazing." Seungcheol says, giving me a smile.

His words meant a lot to me. But of course, I didn't forget that the guys were there. Jeonghan was practically digging his nails into my arm as he pulls on my arm.

"Thank you Oppa.. Thank you to all of you.. You guys mean the world to me." I said with a smile.

"Forever," Seungcheol starts, placing his fist in the middle. All thirteen of us join our fists together, raising it up.

"Seventeen!" We shout.
