chapter 2

I sit at the swing until he leaves,  but even then I stay there for a half an hour.
Josh,  why josh?
I kept thinking of that question until I got home.
When I opened the door my parents were gone,  like always.  I have no siblings so the house would be quiet.  After I sat down and turned on the living room TV the door bell ringed.
I went to go see it and it was Rylee,  but he had mesureing items,  maybe I should've mentioned his parents worked for Josh's family making outfits.
"Hey Rayne,  I'm here to fit you for an dress" he looked at me in with a look I can't describe
"Oh um of course,  come in" i let him in.
He grabs a bunch of fabrics and measuring stuff.
"Um you need to change into a strapless bra please while I do this" he chocks on his words.
"Oh yeah,  um would you like to do this in my room just incase someone sees this...cause it would look weird..." I say heading up to my room
He walks behind me
"You can change I'll wait here" he nods for me to go in
"Oh yeah of course" i say
I go in and change to what he said too.
I go to open the door to let him in
He blushes when he opens the door.
I don't say anything
"Okay I just need measurements right now,  I also have a couple dresses you can try on"
"Oh okay" i say
He tells me to stand up straight and he measures my chest,  my stomach,  my waist, my butt, and  my height.
"Okay um I'll go grab the dresses,  I know you aren't a big fan of princess dresses but this is a big deal to meet the parents an plan the wedding". He says bluntly.
" oh okay". I say as he exits
I wait for maybe 10 minutes,  he comes back with 5 dresses
"Pick one".
He says (all of the dresses are in the picture)
" The um,  oh I don't know" I look at the dresses in aw
"Would you like me to help you pick one out baby girl" he asked
I blush deeply,  I always loved it when he called me baby girl
"Yes please" I ask
"The pink and black one,  it would compliment your skin tone" he says again bluntly
He puts it one me and it fits perfectly
I smile and he laughs
"Do you know how to dance" he asks as he fixes the dress to make it even more perfect on me.
"I do not" I say shyly
"Here I'll teach you" he says as he grabs my waist
I put my hands on his shoulders as he pulls me close to him
He shows me how to dance for 20 minutes.
"You'll be great tonight,  I promise,  I'll even be there to help you if you need it" he smiles
"Thank you so much"! I squeal in joy.
" Hun your going to be beautiful,  I have shoes that I set down and I know you can do your hair".
"Thank you". I say
He smiles and he looks at a lonely strand of hair on my face and be puts it out of my face by putting it behind my ear. I blush deeply and I look down.
He chuckles
And makes me look up at him by putting his finger under my chin.
He kisses me softly....and I kissed back.
He pulls way and looks at me and smiles.
" I have to go babygirl, I'll see you at the ball"
