Abby's POV
"When can I leave?" I ask, anxious to go home and see my pack.
"Tomorrow morning," Blake replies and I sigh taking his hand in mine again.
"I've missed you so much," I link him.
He caresses my cheek and links back, "I know sweetie, me too."
I yawn and Jax's eyes immediately turn to me, "I think it's time to let her sleep. Connor, Evan, and Logan you three know what room you can have. Hunter, Kyle, and Dylan I will escort you three to rooms."
"Thanks," they murmur and he nods.
"Night sis," Jax says before kissing my forehead.
Brie and Rina come up to me, "Night Abby."
"Good night girls, see you in the morning," I say and they all exit.
Blake pulls a chair next to my bed and takes my hand. I sigh as his fingers close around my own. I lay my head on the pillow and Blake uses his free hand to pull the blanket over me.
"Good night my love," he whispers.
"Good night my love," I echo before drifting off to sleep.
Blake's POV
The next morning I wake up and see my Abby still asleep with a hand resting on her belly. I stare at her face and I'm so glad she's here with me again.
"I missed our mate," Alex says and I nod.
"How's Collie doing?" I ask and he sighs.
"She's doing well. She's healing Abby while looking after our pups," Alex replies.
I nod and reposition myself on the chair. I stare down at my beautiful mate and watch as her eyes blink open. Her hazel orbs look around the room before they land on me and stay there. She gives me a soft smile and I lean down to kiss her forehead. She sighs and I wrap my arms around her.
"Good morning," I whisper.
"Morning," she sighs and I smile.
"Ready to go home?"
"Yeah, I'm excited. How's the pack?"
"They weren't doing so well with one of their lunas missing. But ever since we've found you they're getting better."
"What was it like?"
I sigh, "All the fighters trained extra hard to make sure nothing would happen to Brie or Rina. The pack moms sulked around the pack house and rarely left the safety of the kitchen. The children wouldn't go outside, they'd just stay in the living rooms and stare at nothing."
"All that because I wasn't there?"
"They love you, a pack needs all its leaders to function and feel complete. With you yanked away, they felt alone even with the rest of us."
"I want to see them," she says and I nod.
Dr. Thomson shows up and signs Abby's release forms. As soon as the last form is signed I scoop her into my arms and she wraps her arms around my neck. We walk out of the hospital and downstairs where we see my brothers, Logan, and their mates sitting on three couches. When we approach the girls stand to their feet and run over to us.
"Abby," they say and my mate gives them a wide smile.
"I missed you guys," she says and I can tell she's tearing up.
"Hey," Lexi says and I put Abby down so they can hug, "You're going home now and the babies are healthy. That's all that matters."
Abby sighs, "I know."
"Abigail?" Jax calls from the top of the stairs, "Going home?"
Abby smiles up at her brother, "I am, Jax. But you can come visit whenever you want."
"Same to you," Jax replies.
Lillianna comes down the stairs and hugs the girls, "I'm so glad we've met."
The girls smile and Jax escorts us outside where some of my warriors have cars waiting. When they see Abby their faces relax and they smile down at her stomach. Abby, Hunter, and I pile in one car and the rest pile in the other three cars behind us. Abby sits between Hunter and I and rests her head on my shoulder.
"Welcome back Luna," a warrior named Tommy says from the driver's seat.
"Thank you Tommy," Abby smiles.
The twenty minute car ride passes in silence. Abby stares out of the window while Hunter and I watch her. I'm watching her just because she's my mate and Hunter's watching her because he's protective as her guard. When we reach our house Mom, Dad, and Shay are standing outside waiting for us. When Abby exits the car Shay runs up to Abby and throws herself into her arms.
"Abby," Shay murmurs into Abby's shoulder.
"Shay, I've missed you," Abby says rubbing Shay's back.
"We have food in the house," Mom says and I see Abby's eyes widen.
"Food," she says before rushing into the house.
"Whoa," Brie says and Mom laughs.
"She's a pregnant werewolf. We eat more than regular wolves do," Mom says and Dad nods in conformation.
"Their hormones are also heightened. When Mom was pregnant with the triplets I couldn't keep her off me," Dad says, nuzzling Mom's neck.
"Okay eeeewwww," Shay says, "I'm going inside now."
I follow Shay inside and I see my mate stuffing her face with chicken. I walk up behind her and wrap my arms around her waist. She sighs and leans her back against my stomach.
"I'm happy to be back," she murmurs.
"I know," I say kissing her cheek, "I'm happy you're back too."
