* Six Days Later Graduation Day *
Blake's POV
I wake up to music blasting in the bathroom. I listen and sure enough I hear my mate's beautiful singing. She's singing along to a song called Just A Kiss. She made me learn the words to it last night and surprisingly I fell in love with the song. I carefully open the door and see her showering. The song is just starting so I start singing when the guy starts. She pulls open the door a little and looks at me surprised but she sings with me. After that she motions for me to get out so she can change and get ready. I stay on my bed for a little until she exits.
"You look beautiful," I say standing up to give her a kiss.
She's wearing a navy blue dress that goes to her knees in soft folds. Her hair is curled into waves that go down her back and she's wearing delicate gold sandals on her feet. I'm yanked out of my trans when she pushes me towards the bathroom.
"Get ready. We leave in forty five minutes," she says before shutting the door.
I shower and change into a white button-down with blue jeans. I put on my black convers and spike my red hair. I'm only doing this for her because I know how important this day is for her. I walk downstairs and she smiles at me. Rina and Brie are sitting on the couch on either side of her. Rina's dress is purple while Brie's is red. I grab an apple and we all pile into the suburban. Kyle, Dylan, Hunter, and Evan are squished in the back. Brie, Rina, and Connor are in the middle, leaving Abby and I up front. We pull up to her school and they each hand us a ticket before running off. We go in and hand our tickets over to the person by the door. We find seats in the front row and I sigh when I sit down.
The ceremony starts about half an hour later. I spot Abby, Rina, and Brie sitting in some seats behind the microphone. Since it's a small town there's only about seventy students graduating. I notice a few people from my pack on stage and they wave at me. I also notice Abby cringing away from a boy sitting behind her.
"Hey," I say, "Who's the boy behind Abby?"
"Hold on I'll ask Lexi," Hunter says referring to his sister who's sitting next to him.
"What did she say?" I ask a minute later.
"His name's Taylor," Hunter says, "She told me Abby and him used to go out. That's all she knows."
I nod and watch as the principal makes a speech. He's a werewolf too and when he spots me and my brothers he freezes until he remembers our mates. He starts reading the names and I hear Lexi's name being called.
A few kids later I hear him say, "Abigail Elizabeth Lane."
"Go Abby!" I cheer but I can tell she's not really concentrating.
"Briele Marie Lane," he says.
"Go baby Brie!" Connor yells which makes Brie's face turn red.
"Corrinna Lee Lane," he says.
"Rina doll!" Evan yells making Corrinna stumble.
After the ceremony we wait outside for the girls to appear. They come running out and Abby flings herself into my arms. I see the other girls do the same.
"Blake!" she exclaims burying her face in my neck.
"You were amazing," I say kissing her hair.
"Thank you," she says kissing my cheek.
"Abby?" I hear a man say and I look up to see her ex Taylor with two guys behind him.
Abby's POV
I wake up in the morning feeling excited. Graduation day is here! I get up and start showering blasting my music. Blake comes in and starts singing with me.
After that I get dressed and walk downstairs, waiting for the guys to show up. After that, we drive to the school. We go in and find three seats together. I'm talking with my sisters before the ceremony starts when I feel someone watching me. I turn around and see Taylor behind me. I roll my eyes and turn away.
"Abby," Taylor whispers, "Can we talk?"
"Fuck off," I hiss not even turning around.
I can't concentrate and barely make it to the stage where the principal is. I take the diploma numbly and switch my tassel from right to left.
I take my seat and concentrate just enough to hear him say, "Class of 2016, you are now graduates."
The audience cheers and exits the building. Brie and Corrinna each take a hand and propel me outside. I see Blake and run to him, flinging myself into his arms.
"Blake!" I exclaim burying my face in his neck, not wanting to see if Taylor finds me.
"You were amazing," he says kissing my hair.
"Thank you," I say kissing his cheek.
"Abby?" I hear Taylor's voice and look up to see him with Danny and Chase.
