Wo-ho Dudes... Check me out. I'm on FIRE

                                                               (Kara's POV)

"You're an incredible shot, Kara," Aeru smiled a little, holding the half broken arrow in his hand.

"I know... Practice makes perfect." We walked back into Aeru's house. It took me a bit to take it all in. This  was my new life, no more wandering aimlessly through the forest, no more stealing, robbing from people. Now I get to spend a much happier life, filled with friends and joy.

"So... are you excited, Kara." I hardly noticed that we were back in his bedroom, watching him as he slipped on a pair of slippers and fixing his red scarf.

"You bet..." I doodled with my hair a little, feeling the slight moisture stuck between each lace of hair. The blue sweater was quite comfortable, making me drowsy just by wearing it. Smiling, I sat next to Aeru, waiting patiently as he slipped on the last slipper.

"You ready, Kara." I nodded and we both stood up.

"Maybe we'll run into Lucian and Blaze on the way, or meet them at the table." I nodded silently.

"That'd be nice..." Aeru nodded and walked over to his dresser. He put a little more conditioner on his head and walked over to the door.

"Alright... after you." I grinned and walked over to the opened door. I caught glance of a picture frame directly above the door. I froze a moment to look at it...

On it was Blaze, Lucian, Aeru, and... Flance. They were all smiling, Flance looking... happy, even.

I saw Aeru give me a confused look. I hurried and walked up to the still opened door, and stopped next to Aeru.

"Alright... I'm ready." Aeru and I walked out the back door and onto the main streets.

"Tomorrow we should take a walk around here... Maybe help get you familiar here." I simply shrugged and nodded.

"I don't see why not..."  I looked around as the streets became more clattered. The rural area transforming into a more city-like area. Shops, bakery's, Entertainment centers, and a few houses here and there.

"Where are we going exactly..." Aeru looked at me and giggled.

"Sorry about that... Anyways, currently it is time for dinner. The cafeteria serves free dishes everyday, three times a day. Although, I only eat there occasionally. Usually me and the gang eat out, or one of us cooks something at home for everyone. As I said before, we're practically a family." I nodded, slightly understanding the whole "food" process.

"How does the "mission" things work." Aeru smiled again, and thought for a bit.

"Well, each day, except for Saturday and Sunday, you MUST do a job. Considering the fact that you have a free house and free food, you have to... pay back the Guild." I nodded, showing him that I was still listening.

"Each mission gives you Pok'e in exchange. The Pok'e is given by the person the mission belongs to. For example, if you had a mission that required you to help find a missing child, after you succeed in doing so, the mother/father of the child  would pay you, considering that they were the ones who requested help. So that's how it works, it all wraps into an endless cycle."

"Wait... So how do you "pay back" the guild?" Aeru giggled again, this time letting his hand slip to my hair.

"That's simple... they take 90% of your profits, keeping you with the last 10%. Don't worry though... with a decently paying mission, you'll have plenty of spare change." I was still slightly confused.
