Prologue

Time, everything starts with time. Have you ever had a moment of 60 seconds that changed your life? Changed your life for the better but at the time you didn't realize the significance of those 60 seconds? So many things can happen in 60 seconds. A declaration of unadulterated love, a post on social media, a car accident, a life saved, a life born. Endless possibilities in a 60 second moment. 60 seconds in a minute, 60 minutes in an hour, 24 hours in a day which gives us 1,440 60 second moments to turn our lives in different directions. I always thought my life was on track going the direction I wanted until the fateful day the track changed and my life went in the opposite direction it was supposed to go. That day would will always be one of my favorite days, the day my young adolescent mind thought everything was ending when in reality that was the day my life truly began. May 17th 2014, the last day of my junior year and the day my parents decided what was best for the family was moving from Los Angeles, California to Gatlinburg, Tennessee. This the story of how my life changed with 60 seconds.
