I Love You ~Chapter 9

Travis's POV
"LET GO OF HER!" I yelled at Zane.
He turned to look at me, shocked. I saw (Y/n) wiggle her way out of Zane's grip.
She had a cold glare looking at me but behind that I could see she was curious and forgiving.
"I just wanna talk to her."
"Zane, I'll meet you at O'khasis!" She waved him off and turned towards me.
"What do you want?" She spat at me but I could tell that she regretted that attitude and mumbled 'sorry' well looking down.
"I'm sorry...I know, I don't deserve you. I cheated on you, I hurt you but I didn't mean to. I'm gonna be honest with you, I've had a crush on Katelyn & Lucinda for a while and the fact that they like me back if a miracle but they don't...they only like me now because I have eyes for another girl. I..." I looked down, a blush crept onto my face and ears.
"...I love you. And it's okay if you don't love me back or even like me but I wanted to let you know. You could be with Laurance, Zane, or anyone else...as long as you're happy. Love isn't about wanting to spend the rest of your life with someone, it's about being able to be happy for the other person and support them no matter what. So, now, I can truly say...I love you, (Y/n)." I looked up from the ground and locked eyes with her. Her eyes brimmed with tears, but not from sadness. Her face lit up a tiny bit and she gave me a warm, gentle smile.
She wrapped her arms around me, hugging me in a loving embrace, which I returned.
She rested her head on my shoulder and I felt warm tears flow freely from her eyes.
"I'm sorry-" I cut her off.
"Please don't be sorry," I pulled away from the embrace and held her cheek in my hand, wiping the tears from her eyes with my thumb. Then holding her hands and leaned my forehead against hers.
"I love you."
"I love you too."
As if on cue, we both leaned in; interlocking our lips together and time slowed down and came to a stop. Our kiss was full of love and passion for each other. We pulled away and smiled at each other, walking back to our original group.

Extra Scene
Zane & Laurance's POV
I knew she was bound to get out of my reach. I'm glad I had her for the time I did. I just pray that Travis treats her like a queen. And, I wish to see her again once I get through my darker ways. Please, don't wait up, (Y/n)...I'll see you one day.
