Chapter 22, Maya!?!?!

Jessica's POV

"We're gonna d...die aren't w...we??" Reuben stuttered....

"No! I promise you Reuben! I will keep you safe even if my life depends on it!!" I told him firmly.... I can't have him thinking I'm gonna let another adorable pig get brutally murdered!

"Come out, come out where ever you are... You can't hide forever you three~ I will find you all and KILL you all... He he he~" she giggles echoed through everywhere, which just added to the creepiness, Reuben snuggled into me for comfort as I gently stroked his head...

We all stood in complete silence hoping she would give up....

"She appears to have gone somewhere else..." Soren said as he silently unlocked the door, trying not to alert Lucy that they were leaving the room....

Reuben ran the direction of Ivor, I tried to grab him but it was too late... I went to chase after him but Soren grabbed my arm...

"The kid knows what he's doin', if its not too late he might be able to heal Ivor back to health! Only peaceful hybrids can heal..." Soren explained, then he let me go and snuck into another room, telling me to go in too...

I listened and stepped into the room... It appeared to be a library and potion room combined..... I glared in awe at the shelves and shelves packed head to toe in books and multicoloured potions....

"Please try not to touch anything... I know what you're like Jesse... You just LOVE to touch things you shouldn't..." He sassed me... "I'm looking for a potion that I think will separate Lucy and Lukas..... Then Lukas will finally have a mind to himself!" Soren continued to explain....

"What about the cure?" I asked,

"Well.... About that...." Soren replied... Wait a minute...

"Soren... You better explain RIGHT NOW!" I told him,

He sighed and answer, "There is no cure..... I just needed an excuse for you and the others to trust me..."

I slapped across the face as hard as I could and said, "by lying to our faces!?!? Why am I not surprised!?!?!" I argued with him sarcastically....

Just then we heard Lucy scream!

I ran out the room and right outside the room me and Soren were in was Lucy having a face off against Gill and Maya!!!

"You BLOODY BITCH!!" Maya screamed and charged towards her, diamond sword in hand.... Then Maya noticed me! "Jess! Where's Aiden!?!?" She shouted to me in urgency...

"Oh he's long dead brownie~" Lucy answered for me, Maya looked at me awaiting to see if it was true or not.... I nodded, holding back tears....

"That's it! First me now Aiden! What the Hell's wrong with you!?!?!" Gill asked Lucy...

"I'm just here to kill everyone Lukas loves..." She said to gill....

"Everyone duck!" I heard Soren shout, I ducked straight away and saw a orange coloured potion in his hand.

He threw it at Lucy with a direct hit!

A puff of Orange smoke appeared....

I wondered what had happened.....
