Chapter 16, Flashback

Jessica's POV

"Why does..... this place...... have to be so.....so...... far away.....?" Ivor asked in annoyance, we were all gasping for breathe... Well, except for Lukas.... We had been walking for miles.....

"Lukas.... How.... The..... HELL.... Are you still.... Walking.... Fine.....?!?!?!?!" Aiden asked also in annoyance.... I couldn't speak, I was that tired,

"You do know ocelots have higher stamina than humans, right?" Lukas asked in reply,

"We're here!!! You lot can stop your moaning now!!" Soren said in glee, Ivor collapsed to the floor and cheered with as much energy as he could, which wasn't much....

Lukas walked past Soren and stopped to witness the massive shelter.... His eyes flared once more....

This is a flashback in Lukas' head, -Author

I heard the distant voices of the ginger and black haired people....

"What you're doing is wrong Soren...." I heard the black haired one say,

"Its too late to turn back now Ivor... " The ginger one replied,

I turned around and stood up in my cell, I approached the bars slowly... My tail lifting as I walked.....

They jumped down the ladder leading to the outside.... My ears flicked as I listened to their footsteps across the hard, stoney, cold floor...

"Hello, subject 37G...." The ginger one said, he appeared to be directing it to me... And he was aware I couldn't speak....

I grunted in reply, giving him a stern look... He stopped but the black haired one however, kept walking,

"Must you really call him like he is a robot or, something without feeling..?" The black haired one asked, before being stopped by the ginger,

"'Fraid so... Now don't get that close.... It is....clearly very mad....." The ginger replied,

"I wish you would stop calling him IT, plus he's fine...." The black haired one replied, he approached me with his hand outstretched, I lunged out to bite his hand but he was pulled back by the ginger.... I growled,

"He's too dangerous Ivor.... Please..." The ginger said,

I stepped back from the bars and sat in the corner...

Jessica's POV

"LUKAS!" Aiden shouted to get Lukas' attention, Lukas shook his head to get himself back to earth...

"Sorry, about that...." He said.

He turned round, glanced at Soren with a stern face, and looked back at the place...

"We better head in before it's too late..." Lukas said as he began to step in.

Aiden and Ivor ran ahead while I talked to Soren...

"Lukas really hates you, doesn't he?" I asked as politely as you can really...

"Yes, well... What I did was unforgivable.... He has reason to hate me..." Soren replied depressingly.....

"Whats in this place anyway?" I asked, looking at the structure,

"Its my backup plan, a part of me knew my first plan would fail... It was where I did the experiments that birthed the hybrids.... It has a testing chamber and everything!" He explained,

I wondered in and realized that the place was bigger than I thought....

A vast, colourful, amazing structure with many different floors....
