I woke up, to my head pounding and the room spinning.
Tami was there, with wide eyes full of disbelief.
Anderson stood there, a soft smile plastered on her face.
"How are you feeling?" She asked me.
I brought my hand to my head.
"I'm a little fuzzy.." My heart pounded.
My voice, it sounded deeper and more masculine.
I looked to them with hope.
I removed myself from the bed, before running over to the mirror.
My light green eyes, shot wide open.
"No.. fucking way." I murmured.
I was one hundred percent guy.
I touched my face, flinching in surprise.
"This is so.. cool!" I beamed, my eyes sparkling.
My hair was now, scruffy and messier now that I had slept.
Anderson smiled softly.
"Are you happy with this new look?" She asked.
I grinned at her.
"Hell yeah!" I beamed.
Tami was speechless, she looked at me with searching eyes as I looked at her confused.
"Are you still going to enroll here with me?" I asked her now.
She blinked.
"Oh, right.. of course, do I go to the main office?" She asked the nurse.
Anderson nodded with a smile.
"I'm going to talk to.. Mr.Thompson, about his new look; he'll be out soon." She told her.
Tami bit her bottom lip, nodding before vanishing out of the room.
"First, have you decided on a name you would like to be called, as a boy?" Anderson asked me.
I blinked.
"Oh, well.. um, Drew has always stuck to me.. when I was younger, I always told my friends and family to call me Drew.. no one would." I confessed.
Anderson smiled.
"Drew Thompson, its a cute fit, I am going to assume; your parents aren't supportive of this life choice you've wanted?" She asked me.
I brought my knees to my chest, shaking my head.
"Nope.. its always been, you're a girl act like it, or be grateful you were born.. they aren't very supportive of my dreams and wishes." I murmured.
Anderson looked at me.
"Well, here at Venom High, we won't toss your dreams aside.. since it is Friday, your schedule will probably be here by Monday, the spell will rub off by Tuesday." She informed me.
My eyes widened.
"Such a short time.." I sighed softly.
Anderson gave a pitied expression.
"Enjoy it while you can, you may not even enjoy being a guy for five days." She suggested.
I shook my head.
"No, I know I will.. its what I've always wanted.." I told her.
Anderson smiled.
"Alright, Drew I'm sure your friend is waiting for you." She said now.
I blinked but nodded.
Taking my leave, oh wait.
I forgot all about my parents.
"Yo, Tami." I greeted my best friend by the office, she looked to me with an unsure expression.
I looked at her confused, before noticing the blank paperwork in her hands.
I chuckled softly.
"Tami, put it away, you don't have to enroll here with me." I told her.
Tami gave me a hurt expression.
"But, Winnie I promised you!" She told me.
"Drew.." I corrected her.
Her expression grew confused.
I rubbed the side of my neck.
"That's the guy name.. I went with." I said.
Tami bit her bottom lip.
"Drew, I want us to stay together.. I know, I said I'd attend this school with you, but whats really in it for me? You?" Her tone was hurt and so was my expression.
"Tami.." I murmured.
Tears burned her eyes. "You are my best friend, maybe we can remain friends in different schools.." She murmured.
I smiled.
"Of course, I wouldn't stop being your best friend if we went to different schools." I told her.
Tami smiled.
"Good."
"Ah, you came here to turn into a guy." Belle said, with a very interested expression.
I blinked, looking at her as she stood by the doors.
"Do you have something against that?" I asked her.
Belle shrugged, she walked up to me with a bored expression.
"Not really, most of these girls go nuts to be a boy for five days, did Anderson tell you that it'll end up destroying you if you keep doing it?" She asked me.
My stomach dropped.
"Wait.. What?" I asked.
"Ignore her, she's a mess." Came a new voice, that belonged to a new girl with brown hair and brown eyes.
"Olive." Belle greeted.
The brunette rolled her eyes, looking to me with a smile.
"You look really cute as a guy, are you coming off straight or?" She asked.
"Oh.. well, um-"
"That's personal." Tami hissed.
Olive blinked.
"Ah, sorry, my mouth speaks faster than it lets me think." She apologized.
We walked past them, and outside.
I winced at the sun, to only groan bumping into someone.
I fell flat out on my ass.
"Damn, that collision though." Said a guys voice.
I looked up, and two of them were there.
One, with messy black hair and silver blue eyes, the other with black hair and gray eyes.
"Drew, are you okay?" Tami asked me with concern.
I frowned, staring at the two, no apologies?
I dusted myself off, before standing.
"Y-Yeah.." I murmured.
"Learn how to watch where you're going." The silver eyed told me.
I glared softly.
"You ran into me." I shot at him.
His brow arched.
"You saw me coming, you couldn't move?" He asked.
I frowned.
"What are you, royalty?" I spat.
The gray eyed boy, bit back a laugh at the question.
"I've been here longer than you, tranny,"
"Tranny!? Listen here asshole!" Tami growled with a deep glare
"Don't enroll here and assume we're all going to be buddies. I saw you as a girl walk in those gates, and I'm seeing you walk out as a boy; you're just like ever girl here." He ignored Tami, before walking inside the building.
"Zeke, you're as cold as ever! What happened to greeting the newbies?" The other protested.
"Shut up, Brett." He spat.
My heart was pounding.
Tami looked to me worried.
"Drew..? Are you okay?" Tami asked me.
I looked to her with a frown.
"I'm fine, come on.. lets go upset more people in my life." I murmured.
When we made it back to the town, I felt more and more nervous.
I only tensed, feeling Tami's hand take mine.
I looked at her as she smiled.
"If they kick you out, you can come stay with me and my parents, you know my parents love and accept you." She informed me.
"Yeah.." I murmured.
She playfully bumped me, and I did the same in return.
I could only fear that moment, when my house came into view.
We walked into the house.
My dad sat on the couch.
"Welcome home, Wi- oh..? Um.." He murmured.
My breath hitched.
Tami bit her bottom lip.
"Um.. Mr.Thompson, this is Winnie.." She said.
His eyes widened.
Until a large smile appeared on his face.
"Very funny, you almost had me fooled, Tami." He smiled.
Tami's brows furrowed.
"I'm not joking, sir.. this really is your daughter." She pushed.
I watched as he removed himself from the couch, then made his way over to me.
He looked at me, closely.
I looked at him. "My breasts are going to play hide and seek for five days.." I told him.
I watched his eyes widen.
"Winnie?! What happened to you?" He asked me, grasping me by the shoulders.
I looked at him, slight guilty.
"We.. skipped school, to go to this other school where a nurse is.. who gives you pills, and lets your body transform into a boy.. also, I am enrolled there now.. as one of her conditions.." I told him.
He looked to Tami who was frowning.
"We are both aware, its a lot to take in.. but, it only lasts for five days." She said.
He looked at me confused.
"Why..? Were you really not happy as a beautiful girl?" He asked me.
I glared softly.
"I was never happy as her! I hated being her! I am happy being a boy! I am Drew." I argued.
He frowned softly.
He leaned into the couch, registering my words.
"Dad, please just accept and love me.. that's all I ask.." I begged him.
"Elliot?" My heart stopped, I turned to the door to see my mom and Emma there with confused expressions.
I looked to Tami who was frowning.
"Who is this?" My mom asked.
My dad ran a hand through his hair.
"This is our son... Drew." He told her.
I watched my moms eyes widen, before glaring at me.
"We never had a son." She hissed.
Dad frowned.
"Til now.. or for, what was it? Five days?" He asked me and Tami.
We both nodded.
My mom looked at me, in full disbelief.
"This is in abomination." She scolded.
My eyes grew wide.
"You're joking right?" I asked her.
She glared at me.
"No, I'm not. You dealt with witch craft, you turned into something you weren't born as... get out." She said quiet at first.
I felt my heart stop.
"What..?" I asked her.
"Alison, aren't you being a little dramatic? They are still our child.." He murmured.
I appreciated the pronoun for my gender.
My mom shook her head with a frown.
"No.. I won't accept this," she turned to me with a disappointed expression.
"I won't accept you." She told me.
My eyes, along with my dads, Emma's and Tami's eyes were wide.
I stood there, trembling.
Tears escaped me.
Suddenly.
It felt like my world, had just went dark.
And there was no sun.
Where was the sun?
Hey! I'm back.
This chapter was a bit more touchy, the way society doesn't really accept us.
Mostly our parents.
To most, some are lucky for their parents to accept them with open arms.
To others.. they end up in some other home.
Chapter 3 may be a bit better for Drew. The day count, will also begin.
Will Drew's dad accept their life style?
Or will he side with his wife for the sake of his marriage?
Find out in the next chapter.
