Time was ticking, and we were running out of time.
Killing Anderson was no longer an option, Klay made that very clear.
We had exactly, less than two months left.
And we were beginning to panic.
The last thing, any of us wanted, was Klay to actually commit suicide.
Anderson has him so scared, he's willing to die sooner.
Just to know, she wasn't his cause of death.

I was stressing myself out, our parents wouldn't understand.
Fuck, Klay's parents disowned him, he's been staying with Pete since the moment his parents kicked him out.
There was literally, no one we could turn to, that would understand this.
I mean, my parents knew my nurse gave me fucking powder to become both genders, they just didn't know about the whole, 'sell your soul.'
How do you go about, telling your parents, your friend decided to sell their soul to a witch?

"It still doesn't make sense.." I mumbled on the hill of grass.
Brett blinked.
We were all chilling, and planning up here this weekend.
We invited Tami and Emma to help us plan.
"What doesn't make sense?" Brett asked.
Zeke had the notepad opened, but on his face as he leaned back.
Pete had his face in his lap.
Klay just looked done with this .
I frowned.
"If Anderson isn't a witch, what is she?" I asked.

"The whole, selling your soul, wasn't obvious enough?" That voice..
We all looked up, and the past smacked me hard in the face.
Belle stood there, her arms crossed, staring hard at each of us.
"How do you know about that?" Pete asked her.
Belle blinked, before giving off a very judging expression.
"You guys, are not exactly the quiet type, when it comes to talking, also one of you likes to tell off the business." Her eyes fell on Brett.

Brett rose his hands in defense.
"You guys know how I get, when I talk." He defended.
Zeke removed the note pad.
"The guy has a point." Everyone then nodded in agreement.
Belle rolled her eyes, before plopping down next to me and Tami.
Who actually looked offended.
I smiled softly.
"Back to the matter at hand.. what did you mean, Belle?" I asked her.

Belle frowned.
"If you dorks, would learn to open books up for once, and read them. You would come to realize, witches can't devour human souls. Only demons can." She explained.
My eyes widened.
"Are you saying, Anderson is a demon?" I asked.
Belle nodded.
"I warned you, the first day you came to Venom High, becoming a boy would destroy you. Klay is a walking example, no offense of course." She smiled sweetly at him.
Klay only shrugged her off.

I glared.
"I thought demons only existed, do-"
"Down below? Hah, yeah. That shows how much research you do, only the real world. Anderson isn't the only demon that walks the earth, and she isn't the last to make deals with the stupid." She hissed.
Pete glared now.
"Stop insulting Drew and Klay." He spat.
I blinked.
"I haven't made a deal with Anderson, but I do take offense to you calling me stupid." I pointed out.
Belle shrugged.
"Anyways, how much time do you have left as a person?" She asked.

Klay looked to her.
"Last than two months." He said.
"That doesn't give me any time, at all." She growled.
I glared.
"Okay, you have had nothing to do with any of us, for months; why now the sudden interest?" I asked.
Belle looked to me with a grin on her face.
"Because, dummy, you're looking at the youngest demon here, who might be able to save this guys life." She explained.
All of our eyes were wide.

The wind blew, roughly.
There was no way..

"You said, this didn't give you much time." Klay stated, as if the news didn't phase him.
One of our classmates was a fucking demon?
THIS WHOLE TIME!?
I was glaring now, there was no way we could trust her.
Time was running out, and she makes an appearance now?
What is she going to gain from helping?
I was on edge now, there was no way..
How could we believe her now?
Just bluntly, announcing you're a demon?

Belle glanced to me, this smirk on her face now, as if reading my thoughts.
"You let your mind run wild, I should be offended by the lack of trust you have in me, but I understand." She said.
Zeke and Brett looked to me, I tensed feeling Zeke's hand fall onto mine.
I frowned deeply.

Belle looked to Klay.
"How long have you been in the boys version?" She asked him.
Klay blinked.
"Almost three years now." He answered.
Belle clicked her tongue against her teeth.
"And that damn bitch, just began her worthless count down? She's toying with you, quite the sadist. There might be a way we can save you." She said now.
I was all ears now, if we could actually save Klay.
I wanted all of the detail on how.

Belle looked at him.
"You still wear that locket, as of today?" She asked.
He nodded.
She frowned. "We have to burn and destroy it, covered in human and demon blood." She said.
My eyes grew wide, as my brows furrowed.
Belle looked to each of us.
"There is a catch on the demon blood." She sighed now.
"It has to belong to the one that made the deal." Klay mumbled.
Belle nodded.
"We could try it with my blood, but if we destroy the locket and nothing happens.. you'd be a girl, along with the continuing countdown." She said now.

I glared harshly.
"Its impossible to get a sample, of Anderson's blood." I hissed.
Belle shrugged.
"Humans are weak, when it comes to fear, you don't think I hear your heart beats? The flow of your blood? Each of you, are terrified." She stated.
We were all exchanging expressions now.
