The next few days as Zeke's partner, flew by..
There were some awkward moments, but we managed to get it done. And it was finally Friday.
The day of our presentation.
"Good morning, Winnie." Anderson greeted me at her office door.
I yawned softly, my hair pulled back into a lazy pony tail.
"Good morning.." I mumbled.
Anderson glanced around.
"Step into my office, for a moment." She said.
I blinked, but nodded.
Anderson looked to me, as she walked over to her desk.
"I've doing a lot of research, lately.. and sweet heart, I believe I can make your dream come true." She told me.
My eyes grew wide.
"You can!?" I asked.
She nodded with a smile, she opened this drawer before revealing this locket.
I arched a brow.
"A locket?" I asked.
She nodded.
"Let me explain.. inside of this locket, is the powder from the green pills that allow your gender to swap over, I tested it on a few witches from my home.. the headaches and a few other things, will become a thing, but this locket will allow you to become a guy. Whenever you want, there is no time limit this time." She told me.
I stood there with wide eyes.
Anderson smiled.
I was hesitating.
"What's the catch?" I asked her.
Anderson blinked.
"Oh! There is no catch, just consider it a gift." She smiled now.
I looked at her, then at the locket.
I reached out, my fingers bending then trying to reach again.
Anderson chuckled.
"It won't hurt you." She promised.
Frowning, I reached for the locket, she handed it to me.
It felt like, it shocked me..
Anderson smiled.
"Go ahead, test it out." She urged.
I blinked, but nodded.
I clicked the locket around my neck, and in seconds I could feel my body changing into Drew's.
My eyes widened, looking into the mirror.
I snapped it back off, before turning to Anderson with wide eyes.
She was smiling.
"Take care of it, the next one won't be free." She told me.
I nodded, placing the locket in my bag then escaping from the office.
Leaving Anderson there.
Smirking, deviously.
I walked into English, eyes fell on me from the back.
I glanced to see Zeke and Brett there, with that guy that had dirty blonde hair.
Zeke motioned me over.
I frowned, but walked over to the trio.
Brett was grinning at me hardcore.
He was such a weirdo.. but in a good way.
Zeke looked at me.
"Did you get the papers?" He asked.
I nodded.
Zeke nodded.
"Good, sit over here with us today." He told me.
I blinked.
"Really?" I asked.
Brett's hands folded under his chin, grinning at me.
"Zeke's taken a liking to you, I wouldn't complain if I were you." He said now.
I nodded, sitting next to the dirty blonde, his attention fell on me.
"Its nice to officially meet you in person, ThatBoi." He grinned cheeky at me.
My eyes widened.
"Are you M-"
"That Kid." He laughed.
"My name is Pete Hanson." He introduced himself.
I smiled.
"Nice to meet you.." I said, feeling kind of shy.
Zeke smirked softly.
"So, what did Anderson want with you this morning?" Brett asked me.
I blinked.
"Oh.. she um, gave me this locket." I murmured.
"A locket?" Zeke asked, his brow arching.
I looked to him with a nod.
"It has the pill powder, that lets me become a guy.." I told them.
Brett grinned.
"That's awesome, did you sell your soul to her?" He asked.
I blinked."Sell my soul..?" I asked.
Pete frowned.
"That's what Klay did.. you know the guy with the brown hair and blue eyes?" He asked me.
My heart was pounding hard against my chest.
"That's m0ll0w?" I asked.They all nodded.
"Klay was originally a girl.. he also has a locket." Pete told me with a frown.
My eyes grew wide.
"What..?" I asked.
Zeke glanced to me.
"He's been wearing that locket for two years now.. The only way he got to stay as a guy, was to sell his soul to Anderson." He said now.
I looked at them with wide eyes.
"Anderson never asked me for anything.. she just said, the next one wouldn't be free." I said now.
Pete and Brett blinked.
"That's weird.. better not let Klay know." Zeke warned me.
I nodded with a frown.
"Alright class, lets get our presentations started." Mr.Hester announced.
I smiled softly.
We listened to the students go over each of their album covers, until mine and Zeke's names were called up.
We walked to the front of the class.
I was nervous the whole time, eyes were on us and Zeke was doing his part by talking while I showed and explained certain parts.
We took the questions, then went back to our desks.
I could hear a a few students whispering about me, and how they didn't understand how Zeke was comfortable being around me.
It hurt.
When school was over, I stretched walking outside of the building.
I had the whole weekend, and I had the option to become a boy whenever..
'Did you sell your soul to her?'
'Klay was originally a girl.'
I frowned at the questions..
Did Klay really sell his soul?
How was that even possible? I thought you only sell your soul to demons..
So.. would that mean, Anderson isn't a witch?
I scratched my head in much frustration.
"What's got you abusing your hair?" I heard Brett ask me, walking from behind.
I stopped, looking to him.
"Oh, just trying to figure out things in life is all.." I murmured.
"In other words, your still stuck on the whole, 'sell your soul?" He asked.
I frowned.
"How did you know?" I asked.
Brett smirked.
"You make this face, when you lie." He informed me.
My eyes widened.
"I make a face?" I asked him.
He nodded with a grin.
"Don't worry about it, are you going to get on the chat tonight?" He asked me.
I shrugged.
"Is Klay going to be on?" I asked.
Brett shrugged.
"Not sure, but who cares if he is." He murmured.
I frowned.
"Now that I know, he was originally a girl.. the attitudes and smiley faces he sends my way.. make more sense." I mumbled.
Brett grinned.
"Klay has this thing for Zeke, now you didn't hear that from me." He rose his hands.
My eyes widened.
Brett looked to me.
"So, when you came around.. smarting off and being a punk, towards Zeke. It triggered Klay, and now he thinks your competition." He told me.
I blinked.
"Competition?" I laughed softly, shaking my head.
"I'm not into the idea of fighting over a guy, with someone else.. if Klay wants him that badly, he can have him." I said simply.
Brett smiled softly.
"Zeke won't return the feelings, Klay leaves him notes and flirts constantly.. Zeke actually admitted, Klay gives him a headache.. which not that I blame him, Klay can be very annoying and persistent with things." He explained.
I frowned, as we walked towards the hill.
"Since.. Klay decided to sell his soul, to Anderson.. what does that mean, exactly?" I asked now.
Brett stuffed his hands into his pockets.
"It means, that when Klay dies.. he'll be sent directly down to hell." He said with a sad smile.
My eyes widened.
"What..?" I looked at the locket with a frown.
"I'm still confused, on why she didn't ask for your soul.." Brett murmured now.
I looked to him.
"Maybe my soul isn't worth it?" I asked.
We walked to the top of the hill.
Brett looked to me.
"Maybe? It just doesn't make sense.. I mean, Anderson is a snake.. she has to have something, planned for you.." He mumbled.
I looked to him with worry, I clicked the locket around my neck, immediately turning into Drew.
Brett blinked several times.
"Any pain?" He asked.
I shook my head.
"I might confront Anderson, about this Monday.." I said.
"You do that, we'll all be at your funeral." Zeke said, his arms crossed as him and Pete made their way up to us, this brunette who I assumed was Klay was right behind.
Brett told me to zip my lips, and I did without hesitating.
Zeke yawned softly.
"We did good on our project, however.. next project, I get to choose who we research." He informed me.
He wanted to be my partner again? I could feel the butterflies trying to create a hurricane in my stomach, or was this me fixing to vomit..?
Shit, it was option b.
I ran away from the guys, before throwing everything up I had ate today.
Brett and Pete were frowning deeply.Zeke's brows were furrowed.
Klay only rolled his eyes.
"I don't think they like the idea of being your partner, YOU MADE THEM THROW UP!" Pete laughed.
Brett was laughing.
I wiped my mouth, making a face from the after taste..
"That was disgusting.." I grumbled.
"Like Zeke's idea?" Brett teased.
I looked to the messy haired teen, with an apologetic expression.
"No, sorry.. I think its only fair, if you pick who we research next." I smiled softly.
Zeke blinked.
"Oh, um well cool." He cleared his throat.
I smiled.
"Hey.. Drew? You have something right there.." Pete pointed to the corner of my face.
I felt my face heat up, before wiping my face completely.
Earning the guys, except Klay to laugh.
Oh no, he was scowling.. the whole time.
This may be another issue, in my issue book.
I managed to get a chapter up before work, I'm going to try to do that tomorrow and on Wednesday as well.
I have night shifts for the next three days, but I'll manage to update if I'm inspired or just feel the need to.
Hooray for plot twists though!
Klay was originally a girl, who has feelings for Zeke.
Anderson may or may not be a demon pretending to be a witch.
And will Drew have to sell his soul, if something happens to the locket?
What is Anderson planning?
And will Alison demand for Emma to live with her?
Until next time guys~!
