Fang’s POV

I drove home. My mother hugged me. “What’s going on?” I asked dad as he pulled me into a hug. “hunters are in the area.” He told me. “they got rid of the ghost for us. I don’t know if they’ve heard of us yet. Let’s hope they don’t.” dad said pulling my sister into a half hug.

 “So you’ve found your mate?” Dad was trying to change the subject. “uh yhea she just  moved here. they have a small cottage in the woods.” I told them. “That’s great. She take a liking to you yet?” he joked. “Not sure she’s hard to read. A little crazy too.” I told dad as my beta and best friend Blade jumped on my back and gave me a nugie. “dude I found my mate too. Her brother.” Blade told me. “Didn’t realize you were gay. But I’m cool with it and it’s her cousin not her brother.” I told him. “But they are practically brother and sister.” He nodded “Sweet.” Rolling my eyes I headed for my room.

Dru’s POV

We reached the cabin and I laughed. “Wow. This is dusty.” Dad smacked me upside the head. “Place has been set so no werewolf vampires and demons can get in. all doorways have been varnished in salt. And every entryway.” Ryder told me. “nice.” I said coughing as I walked inside. “I picked some cleaning supplies up we’ll work on it while you’re at school. Either we’re spending the rest of our lives here or we leave to the next town. It’s up to you. you have a mate. accept him or reject him. it’s your choice. If we stay here we’ll work small jobs around the area.” Dad told me Em and Ryder nodded. “We aren’t breaking the family up.” “Let me guess they are peaceful wolves not the crazy freaked up ones?” they nodded. “lived here for hundreds of years without troubles. Only people they fight are monsters.” Dad said hugging me. “By the way let me check your ankle.” Ryder said I sat down. he held it and checked it over. “okay we’ll have to wrap it use the crutches for a couple days.” He told me I nodded as he started wrapping it.

I hobbled my way into school. Wolf boy walked up to me “You okay?” he asked. “I’m fine just a sprain. I’ve had worse.” I told him remembering being attacked by hell hounds. Luckily Ryder blasted them back to hell in time to take me to the hospital. I still have the scars along my chest and thighs.

Shaking my head Fang helped me carry my things. “Thanks.” I said as Em walked away someone catching his eye. “That idiotic slut.” I muttered watching Em talk to a girl. “I hope she slaps him too.” I muttered. Fang looked at her and chuckled. “That’s my little sister. And she has a boyfriend in collage. His first year. But she loves him and I have a feeling she’ll slap him any moment.” Just as he said that I heard the contact of skin on skin. Fang an I burst into laughter watching him. Em flipped us the bird as he stomped off to class.

A girl bumped into me on my way to the bathroom. I froze when I saw her black eyes. “deus.” I said the Latin word for God. She flinched. “Damn my luck.” I muttered limping off. she pushed me against the wall. I gasped for air as she held me there. “Ab eaque creativitas virgo scriptum perpetua vim sustinuerunt Matris Magnae anus manifest accusation Lorem ipsum potestatem dissolvit et convicietur tibi saecula unde sicut voluntas magis est. Ego Emery Cartail te ad infernum.” Emery said black smoke came from the girls mouth and he caught her as she fell. “Let’s get out of here.” I said to emery he nodded and helped me up looking around.

“You exorcized a demon in school?” Ryder asked Em. He nodded and dad high fived him. Ryder smacked both of them upside the head. “There’s a job a couple towns over. I need the two of you two take it. so if she sees you she won’t remember you.” Ryder told us. I nodded and started packing my bag. “we’ll take the Camaro.” I told the guys who nodded. dad hugged me and kissed my hair. “Em I meant Dru and Ryker. They need some alone time. you just have to hide out here with me.” Ryder told his son. Em fell to his knees in front of us. “TAKE ME WITH YOU!” he begged. I laughed as dad fixed his sling and carried my bags out of the house. “No way in hell!” he yelled as dad put in an AC/DC tape.  We sung along to Back In Black.
