"Hell yeah, best start to the day," I said as I smiled, the laughs dying down inside of me. "It looks like it's gonna be a nice Sunday morning and afternoon, who's up for the beach?"
"Mmm yeah why not," Cal replied, Elle nodding with him. Cal and I walked back downstairs, and Elle walked upstairs to go get changed into something besides pajamas. I walked out of my room with pink and gray swim shorts and a white long sleeve shirt on to meet Cal hopping out of his room, trying to put on a tight blue shirt and black socks at the same time.
When Callum finally got his clothes in order, he noticed me staring and rolled his eyes. I laughed and we both put our sunglasses on and walked outside to see someone.. familiar walking down the sidewalk. But not in a good way.
Amelia.
Let me just say one thing- what the hell. Amelia was just that type of person. She acted like someone completely besides herself just for attention, and like I said, what the hell? Sure, you could ask me the same question on why I am who I am, but Amelia's a whole different subject. But of course, she decided the change her personality to a suck-up who stutters for attention.
I've had one hell of a past with people like that, and let me inform you, they're not even a fourth of what they seem to be. They welcome you into their life and pretend to love you, and when it shows you've fallen in love with them too, they turn around and break your heart like you were just playing a game the whole time.
Callum and I approached her, and Cal might've not been able to say the same thing, but the rage inside of me was filling up very quickly.
"Good morning, Amelia," I said. She tried to keep her pretty little head down and walk past us, but Cal fiercely grabbed her wrist.
"Where do you think you're going? Gonna go spend the day with your daddy?" Cal sneered. He took Amelia's arm and swung it around, pinning it to her back and she let out a small scream. "You're very weak, Amelia. You might want to ditch your daddy-daughter day and take a trip to the gym." I snickered and just folded my arms as I watched Callum taunt her. I guess it was kind of bad for me to have enjoyed watching this, but Amelia deserved it.
"No, no n-no I-I'm n-not.." Amelia said, stumbling over her words. Before Cal nor I could reply, Elle walked up and grabbed Amelia's collar.
"I doubt that. Very much," She snarled. There was this hatred for Amelia that ran through Elle's veins, but I had no idea what for. It was far more powerful than Cal or I would've expected, but it worked in scaring Amelia out of her skin, so we didn't really mind it. Amelia kicked Elle's shin, but before the situation could turn into a full-blown chick fight, Cal muttered something and walked away. Elle pushed Amelia to the ground and followed, but before I could leave I raised my fist, threatening to punch the weakling. She winced and yelped a little, which left me laughing.
"Don't think you can be stronger than us, kid," I muttered, spitting at her. I let her get up and stumble off before walking away to the beach.
