Things happened so fast when I had snapped out of it. My vision was blurry and I could barely see anything. Someone yelled 'words do hurt, you bitch" and a painful sounding thud. When my vision was back enough for me to see facial features, I also saw Mika hurl a large piece of furniture towards Elle.
"NO," I yelled, extending my hand thinking I could somehow help. She got hit in the head and fell to the ground and she was out cold.
"Mika, just kill me," I heard someone say. It was Amelia and she faced Mika, who was still gripping the knife. I looked around and saw Callum breathing hard, staring at Mika and Amelia. I couldn't focus on anything. I'd say that IED was coming back to me, but by the looks of it, it never left. Callum tackled Amelia and after a couple of seconds, Mika ran over and tried to pull him off of her.
As my eyes landed on Mika, my entire body burned with unbearable rage. I slowly bent down and picked up Cal's extra baseball bat and slowly walked over to Mika. Elle is hurt, badly hurt, because of Mika, I thought. My heart rate and breathing picked up very much very quickly.
She clenched her knife and stared down at Amelia, who was crying and being held down by Callum. He looked up at Mika. "Don't you fucking dare." Mika jumped a little bit and I heard Amelia say the stereotypical 'oh, it's all my fault' and 'I'm so sorry just kill me.' Seemingly unable to take the stress anymore, Mika just burst out crying and burst through the front door, running off. "MIKA-" Amelia yelled and tried to get up, but Callum kept her calm- at least made sure she didn't run off as well.
"Oh-ho-ho. I'll take care of this bitch," I said with a grim smile on my face. I stepped outside and sprinted off into one direction of the path in search of Mika. Maybe I have had rage episodes before, but this one was different. I had control. It was almost like I knew how far every single muscle fiber in my body could and would go to find Mika.
okay sooo short chapter but it was action-packed and the last chapter was preeetty long. im just saying- but one of the songs I think of when I think of Collins' IED thingy is Savage by Max
