Sorry for the late update poor writing and short chapter, I have severe writers block and don't really know what direction I want this book to take.

Benjamins POV

After the incident at the hospital I thought I was done for. My chest hurt as I took every breath. I struggled for awhile there on the floor, which was now stained with my blood. I tried to reach for my phone in my jeans pocket, but i couldn't move my arms. The pain was unbearable.

I was on my back, looking up at the crème ceiling with its lights barely illuminating the space around it. The sound of slight humming floated through the air followed by the sound of high heels clicking. The sound drew closer and gradually got louder as a figure appeared in front of me.

My eyes readjusted and the figure clarified to reveal a girl looking down at me her ocean blue eyes pooling over with concern. She got closer to me and whispered to me almost as if she was afraid of her own voice;

"It's okay I'll go get help" And with that she got up and walked out of the hospital her heels clicking away..

A couple of minutes later she returned, but not alone. Two people came in with a stretcher and parked it near my body. One of them put their hands by my shoulders and the other by my legs. On three they gripped their hands around my body and lifted me up, onto the stretcher.

They wheeled me into the elevator and into an empty room. There i couldn't move. It was like my whole body was paralyzed. All I could do was stare at the ceiling watching the tiny dust particles dance around the flickering lightbulb.

I was focusing on the tiny dust particles to draw the attention away from chest which was now hurting even more now. Every breath I took there was this weight being lifted and dropped on me all over again.

As I stared into the ceiling, my vision got blurry and soon I drifted into darkness.
