Chapter 1

Raindrops landed on my head as I strolled around the forest, with Kitty in hand. I sang the tune of my favorite song of when I was younger, Scarborough Fair. It gives such... how do you describe it? Warm, yet melancholy feelings. Like remembering the past, where everything's all sunshine and rainbows, until a storm with the fiercest thunder comes up and destroys everything. Kind of like that. Actually, exactly like that. We were all one big happy family... until everything fell apart.

I wander around the forest some more, my body all drenched in the rain. The droplets slide down my ivory white skin, glistening in the moonlight like sparkling jewels before dropping to the floor. I spot a mansion nearby and teleport inside.

The mansion is elaborate, beautifully made, with antique interior. Judging by the emptiness and lack-of-presence vibe, it seems the owner of the mansion had left. Perfect.

I head over to the couch to take a nap. My clothes are no longer wet, nor is my hair. Probably due to teleportation. I snuggle Kitty close to me as I fell into deep sleep.

I felt a presence nearby. It had a beautiful scent coming off of it that I couldn't help but feel my hunger rumbling up inside of me. Right there, I knew. It was a human.

Suppressing the urge to sink my fangs into it, I slowly open my eyes and let out a yawn. Of course, this was fake.

I sat up, and turned around to see a girl standing not so far away from me. The girl had blonde hair and pink eyes. Her sweet scent radiated off of her like perfume.

So it was this girl who was smelling sweetly delicious... Probably no cake would ever be as sweet as her blood... I'm quite famished... Thinking this, I licked my lips with a smile.

I spotted faint vampire bites on her neck, wrists and some on her leg. So there's other vampires? Does that mean she's their prey? Does that mean I won't get a taste? She smells delicious... I wanna taste... I wanna taste...

I was probably spacing out and staring at her for too long 'cause then, she called out to me.

"Umm... Who are you?" She asked me.

"Maria." I answered.

"Last name?" She inquired.

"...I'd rather not say."

"Why? Just tell me."

"No."

"Come on."

"Not saying." I stubbornly persisted. This girl's starting to get on my nerves. Why can't she back off of my personal issues? I'm trying to hold in my temper but it's not gonna last long.

"Come on, just tell me." Ok. This was it.

"SHUT UP YOU CRUDE WOMAN!!! WHY CAN'T YOU JUST BACK OFF?! YOU NEED PUNISHMENT!!!" I screamed at her while glaring fiercely, Kitty between my arms in a death grip. I grabbed both her wrists with one hand and dropped Kitty as my other hand grabbed her chin fiercely, her gaze landing straight at me. She wasn't able to struggle; my vampire strength's no joke.

"What's your name?" I asked, my eyes dead serious as I stared at her.

"Y-Yui."

"Yui-chan... I hate you. Such a vile woman. Although, probably the only thing good about you is your blood." A smirk on my face as I inched closer to her neck, tilting her head to the side. I can see her eyes widening in fear, oh so pretty!

"Waah~ Yui-chan! Kawaii~ You're so scared like a cute little bunny rabbit! Waah~ So cute! So cute!" I exclaimed with a faint blush as my head backed away from her neck to take a closer look at her face. I cupped her cheeks with both hands.

"Aww~ Such a cute little bunny, I wanna taste~" I said as I quickly grabbed her, pulled her towards me, and sank my fangs into her neck. I pulled back after getting a few quick gulps.

"Waah~ So good! So good! Even sweeter than the sweetest cake! More, I want more!" I screamed as I once again, indulged in the sweet taste of her blood. Ohh! So good! So sweet! The sweeter, the better!

"Ahh~ Little girl, I want you. Your mine now. This Hime-sama will take good care of you..." I chuckled as I once again bit into her neck, and drank until she fainted.

Her body fell down to the floor with a thud as I stood in front of her, gazing down at her with a cold stare.

"Delicious~" I whispered as I grabbed Kitty from the floor, licked the rest of her blood on my mouth, and walked away, leaving Yui alone on the floor, unconscious.
