I sang, as tears started flowing like a waterfall. But unlike regular tears, these tears, were blood.
My power surges even stronger throughout the song, it's pressure overwhelming the vampire brothers. The mansion, cracking, as all the glass shattered. Everything shattered. From picture frames, to vases, everything crumbled into nothingness with this power. Both of my eyes were pure black, like darkness.
The mansion was on the verge of collapse, but when I was just finishing singing, I felt my power cut short. It made me suddenly stop, and fear spread throughout my bones. My last thought was, "Father..." before my vision faded into darkness, and I fainted.
~3rd POV~
As Maria was about to fall, an arm caught her.
"Hello, children." A deep voice called.
Growls escape from the brothers' mouths.
"KARL HEINZ!!" The brothers yelled at once.
"Have you met your sister? Cute, isn't she? Although she wasn't as beautiful as her mother, Cordelia... She's still a very pretty girl." Karl Heinz said as he lifted the unconscious Maria up and proceeded to gently caress Maria's cheek, adjusting her body to show the brothers.
"WHAT DO YOU WANT?!" Ayato screeched.
"Oh... nothing much. Just checking if you'd treat my baby girl as nicely as you should be." He responded casually as he drank some tea that Reiji had made. (A/n: Don't worry, there's no drugs in it.)
From the tone of his voice, it clearly shows how much he cares for his precious daughter. But that 'care' is different than what you are thinking.
"Seeing that she had fainted due to overpowering, it seems that she was in extreme distress... like a shock or something. Well, as expected. After all, it was technically my doing that had caused all this..." Karl muttered to himself.
"My sons, Maria is your sister and you must treat her nicely. If not...
You'll die.
Ok?" Karl warned with a stern voice. "I am not the one to kill you, but she will."
"How is she gonna kill Ore-sama?" Ayato asked with a scoff.
Karlheinz only chuckled, placing Maria on the sofa, slowly and gently, as if she was delicate porcelain glass.
"You'll see."
