unexpected

chapter 2

Omg why did I do that? Why did I just walk away like that? God i'm so stupid! I quickly sat in my seat all the way in the back of the class, in the corner. I was glad that i had health first period because to me it felt like a free period, all I would do was listen to the teacher, do all of my work, early i might add and draw the rest of the period.

There was a knock on the door and I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the beautiful girl from earlier. I quickly remembered how I walked away without saying anything. I started to feel like a bad memory came up and felt depressed.

"Okay class, we have a new student today!" the class stopped​ there whispering and chattery when the teacher silenced them.

"Okay." the teacher said,"would you like to introduce yourself to the class?" she had stepped forward. Wow she is very bold i wouldn't have been able to do that. I would have said no and just had quickly grabbed a seat.

"Hello." she waved,"my name is  Anastasia." oh gosh i thought to myself. She even has an elegant name. I just kept thinking to myself of how perfect she was, even her name was perfect.

"Okay." the teacher said,"sit in any empty seat.","okay." she replied.

I was kind of happy that there were a couple of empty seats. It had comforted me to know that i wasn't the only one with an empty seat. Anastasia examined the room to see which empty seat she wanted. I quickly put my head down. However that didn't help at all she sat right next to me and my heart was beating like crazy because i was scared if she was going to confront me.

"Hello." Anastasia said in a nice calming tone. "I saw you this morning and had asked for your name but you left." still in a calm tone. My heart relaxed a little when hearing her soft voice. I got out of the trance when she said,"are you not going to tell me your name?" my heart beat quickened again but nonetheless i answered her in a very low soft voice,"hello. My name is Lydiana."

She smiled at me. I could see her from the corner of my eye.

I was very nervous of saying anything however telling her my name, I felt relieved.

"Haha, hi Lydiana it's very nice to properly meet you." Her laugh was very sweet and elegant. I had finally felt calm after hearing her laugh.

"Sooooooo Lydiana why didn't you tell my brother and I your name when we first encountered?" Anastasia said. "Well i... it... it's because I am not very good at communicating with people." I said with a low voice.

"Oh I'm sorry. But I am glad to meet you. So quick question can we be friends because I am very new and the only person who catches my interest is you, so what do you say?"

"Um ok",  "yay you are my friend! so I will see you at lunch?" Anastasia said with such excitement. "Yes", I replied while giggling. Anastasia is elegant but I can also see that she is funny and goofy. The thought of this made me smile.

"You have a very pretty smile Lydiana, you should wear it everyday with confidence", Anastasia said. This made me happy no one has ever complimented me before.
