Here I wait quietly by your side,
With overflowing feelings that I hide
Knowing she is the only one you see,
Knowing there is no way you'll notice me...

The thoughts that make my eyes water,
That you'll never see me the way you see her
She is the one who brings our your smile,
While I'm stuck with feelings I try to exile

Sometimes I look at her and wonder,
In your eyes, when will I be better?
Then I remember, she's perfect from head to toe
And too kind to be even considered a foe

Forgive me, but I can't just give up on you,
Can't let you go, even if you wanted me to
But I do wish you joy, the one I couldn't give,
I know you'll be happy with her, this I believe
