Insomnia

Don't know why my mind keeps on denying,
The peaceful slumber that seems so inviting
A break from reality, exactly what I wished for,
An escape from all this madness and problems that I bore

Close your eyes and do not worry,
A simple task that seems so easy!
Trying to throw away my anxieties and paranoia,
But why can't I seem to sleep? What has caused this insomnia?
