ADELINE HAD SOME trouble with the tall boxes on top shelf, thankfully she was a wind spirit and was the direct daughter of Aeolus and didn't have much trouble. But the bell ringing, signaling there was a customer, didn't help as she dropped the box of bolts.
"Hades!" She cursed, picking up the boxes and putting it on the counter before glancing at the person who just entered the seemingly small Ups store.
She met a pair of striking electric blue eyes.
"Hello, again." The dark-haired girl from last month said. "I need some nectar or ambrosia, fast."
Adeline's eyes trailed to her bleeding arm. Her camp jacket was soaked in blood, making Adeline feel a little sick. She never liked seeing blood, mainly because she never really bled in her life.
"Um, I-I need some payment first." Adeline said, staring at the deep gash on her forearm.
She rolled her eyes and tossed her some coins before following her to the back.
"Where are the others?" She asked, opening the door for her. She solidified her hand.
"They're out and busy. I can come here myself." She responded, pouring some nectar into her arm and hissing at the pain.
Adeline squealed, "No! That's not how you do it! Let me." She grabbed the flash away from her hands. "Haven't you learned from surviving for so long?"
"No, obviously from what you think." She replied.
Adeline cleaned up the wound and bandaged it up, even tying a pretty knot with the white cloth. There was still some blood stains but it wasn't that noticeable.
"You might want to get changed." Adeline said, rummaging around for any clothing.
"Doesn't that require payment?" She asked, mocking that she said earlier.
Adeline blushed. "You paid extra, so think of is as what you paid extra for." She shoved a plain white tee and jeans into her hands.
She stared at the clothing as Adeline was about to leave.
"The name's Thalia." She called after her.
"Adeline."
