mustering up all the courage he had, he finally had the guts to approach sooyeon during lunch break.

"why are you avoiding me? did i do anything wrong?" mark asked, pulling sooyeon to a secluded area of the school.

"no. and im not avoiding you. if there's nothing else i'll take my leave first."

just as sooyeon was about to leave, a pair of arms pinned her to the wall. mark leaned in, and their faces were merely a few inches apart. he stared at her, and sooyeon felt as if mark was staring into her soul.

"i asked you. why are you avoiding me. what happened."

"and i told you nothing." sooyeon insisted, trying to cover up the nervousness in her voice.

with that, mark leaned in more, and now, their faces were a few centimetres apart. sooyeon swallowed her saliva in nervousness.

"you know, if you still wanna be stubborn and not tell me, i'll pester you till you tell me."

"just let me go already. please."

"all you have to do is just to answer me and you'll be free to go. let's not waste each other's time. what the heck, is going on."

"okay fine. do you like me?"

mark gave a smirk and replied, " do you want me to answer through words, or actions?"
