Hey guys pictured above is actual HRVHS cheerleaders. I do not go to their school or even live near Oregon I just found this on Google. This was just so you can reference their outfits throughout the book, I know it helps me. If somebody sees themselves picture here and wants we to take it down I can. Thanks Lovelies.

I kick Leon's leg as I walk through the bus. "Hey wake up, didn't you get any sleep last night?"

"Yes I did somewhat I was just putting us in an exchange program. Our parent's are friends and would like us to stay in the same school district, thought of that last night. Let's see if we have any takers..." he rambles to me. I sit on the couch next to him after pouring a bowl of cereal.

"Please be somewhere nicer than Colorado," I say with my mouth full. Leon opens up his laptop and goes to his email.

"Hey look! A family from Hood RIver, Oregon is interested in us, and another family in Kuna, Idaho. What'll it be? Oregon or Idaho?" Leon looks at me and wiggles his eyebrows.

"Oregon, closer to the water" I respond looking up Hood River on my phone. I sigh finding their high school's page "Hood RIver Valley HIgh School, whoop let's go HRVHS. Go Eagles yay. Navy, gold, white whoo." I say sarcastically looking through pictures of the school's cheerleaders.

"See that's the spirit, I'm sure you'll be a great cheerleader. I'm going to send the family back an email telling them we accept their offer. I'll ask about cheerleading for you," Leon says typing furiously. I roll my eyes, cheerleaders are doom. I've seen the movies, their bitchy and cruel. THe backstabbers and purgers. How fun, girls throwing up their buffet lunch.  I hope this experiment has a happy ending. I put my phone and bowl on the counter.

I slip on flip-flops and walk off the bus. I walk to the lake we parked next to on this public campgrounds. Some canoers are on the water a ways away, so I decide this is the perfect time for a swim. I peel my tank top off revealing my bikini top that exposed me but not that much. I slip off my shorts and kick my flip-flops off. Walking to the dock I start preparing myself for the cold. Standing on the edge of the dock I look down and count, "three, two...." Before I say one I jump into the water. I swim awhile letting my worries slip away slowly.

-----------------

"Quinn I brought you a towel we should start going to be able to make it to Oregon in Canada traveling time," Leon shouts as I bob up from the water, "I brought you cigs and lighter too, I figured you'd want them."

As I pull myself on the dock I thank him once again for being eighteen and getting me my PRecious cigs, I wouldn't survive without them. I could feel myself weighed down from the water so I take the towel and wrap it around myself. He hands me my cigs and lighter and grabs my stuff and we walk onto the bus.

"Hey when you're done with that can you pick the bus up a bit while I drive? I can do some to tonight when we stop but I want it to look better when we get to Hood River," Leon asks, turning the bus on and shutting the doors.

I close the curtains on all the windows that have them then respond with a groan. I already know this is going to be a long ride to Oregon.
