Chapter 4:

It was Friday and practice had just finished. I was happy because Paige and Maddie were coming ocer to my house for a sleep over. We all piled into my car and drove to my house. When we arrived to my house we ran straight up to my room. We all showered and put on our P.Js. We were sitting on my bed playing a games off truth or dare. "Me first" Maddie said "Paige truth or dare?" " Truth" Paige replied in an unsure voice. "What are you afraid of?" Maddie questioned her. Paige burst out laughing before she could stop to breath she choke out "Abby!" and we were all on the floor laughing. We stopped laughing when there was a knock on the door and dad opened the door. "Girls can u be a bit quiter, Clara is sleep." He said to us. "Sorry" we all replied in unision. We all decided to order a pepperoni pizza abd continued playing our game. While we were playing my phone vibrated. I looked at it and saw a text message from a number i didn't know. I opened it a saw a message from Caleb.

Hey Chlo! This is Caleb. It is awesome being your partner in the duet. Your the sweetest girl I know.

After i reas this message i blush a bright red. Paige and Maddie watched me with questioning eyes. "Who just texted you?" questioned Paige. " Caleb" I answered and blushesd even more if that was possible. "What did he say?" Paige asked me. "Nothing really" I answered. Maddie and Paige looked at me and i turned my face so they couldn't see my eyes. "Your lying"Maddie piped in "You can't even

watch us in our eyes." They both stared at me and I knew I had to tell them. Their my best friends and I can trust them with anything. I gave them the phone and they read the message and began to scream but I quickly blocked their mouths remembering that Clara was sleeping next door. "So how should I reply?"I asked watching them with expectant eyes. "Do you like him?"Paige questioned. I turned a deep shade of red and they knew the answer was yes. Both Maddie and Paige had exprience in that department. Maddie was dating Zack from Candy Apples Dance Company, Ms. Abby sworn enemies dance school. If she found out about the she would go crazy. Paige was dating Nick. One of the older boys at the studio. Everybody knew about the two of them. "Well you can't tell him first, you have to wait for him to tell you that" Paige said and Maddie nodded. "Tell him you had fun with him at rehersals and your looking forward to performing with him tomorrow at the competition" Paige continued. I texted exactly what they told me to and pressed send just before my mom opened the door to tell us our pizza had come. I had to leave my phone in my room cause we had a no phone at the table rule in my house. We all eat our pizzas quickly and ran back upstairs. I watched my phone and saw a mesaage from Caleb and I was super excited. I opened it up and read it allowed for the girls to here.

Me either. Do you wanna sit by me tomorrow that way we can talk all the way to South Carolina. I texted back yes as quick as I could. Soon after he replied saying that he was going to sleep since we had to compete tomorrow. When I was done texting him, Maddie, Paige and I spent another hour up doing make overs and gossipping.
