Motivational Questions Part I

From title itself, "Motivational or Inspirational"and I said before I'm going build your confidence before learning the technicalities of writing.

A/N: I'm not an expert in writing, these are just plain opinions and experiences as a writer so far.

So, here's the most frequent question I've encountered so far:

Before asking someone how?, you better ask yourself why? Bakit nga ba ako nagsusulat? Am I into fame? Do I want to be recognized? Or maybe, I'm just writing because I had to express myself or I'll turn into a monster... Paano magsulat? Let it out through your magical words. Forget technicalities when you're writing.

Even I had the same struggle before and even until now. Umpisahan mo at tapusin mo sa utak mo na mismo. Try to picture them. Imagine how you'll kill your most villain characters. How you'll give despair to your main lead? and how you'll make them suffer? At paano sila sasaya sa huli. At kapag okay, make an outline of every chapters para maging gabay mo. Make an outline kung saan mo ilalagay ang twist, climax, love scene, everything!

I'm not quite sure if I gave justice to the question or what but feel free to ask.

You're trying to please them. And writing became necessary. As I've posted before on my facebook account,

"Dear young writers,

Don't be fooled by numbers. Stop saying you'll quit writing because no one bothered to read your works. Stop being drown by the wave of numbers (votes, reads, and comments). Appreciate your work and someone will appreciate it. And if someone tried to make you stop writing because 'you're not good enough', prove them wrong. Be the best writer you could be. Trust your work... yourself.

Sincerely yours,
A young one"

Kasi sa panahon ngayon, marami na ang manunulat and sorry for the word; mas marami ang nagnanais na sumikat at gawing hagdan ang pagsusulat para sa tinatamasang liwanag. I'm not against that, honestly. What I'm trying to say here is, don't focus on numbers or else. Matutong magtanim bago mag-ani. It's a long process and you have to be patient about it.

My mistake. So, for now ito na lang muna. Huwag mag-alala dahil may part II ito! Magandang umaga!

May mga tanong pa kayo na nais mabigyan kasagutan? Huwag mahihiyang magtanong! *(RiteMED Song! Haha.) Magbigay lamang po kayo ng inyong komento!
