viktor meets kaoru (in the most unfashionable way)

Okay, the fucker had it coming.

No matter how much Yuuri told Viktor that he "didn't deserve it and violence is not the answer", he deserved it and he had it coming from the minute that Yuuri told him about a very specific douche-y ex. The only ex that Yuuri ever had. And of course, it had to be him.

If they had broken up a normal way—telling each other that it would be better if they were just friends or something—everything would have been cool. Peaches and cream. But that wasn't the case. This asshole had the audacity to play with Yuuri's for months, all for laughs and entertainment. He practically destroyed Yuuri, and Viktor wasn't having any of that.

The second Yuuri told him about him, he swore vengeance. Yuuri told him he was being ridiculous, but honestly, Viktor couldn't see it. He deserved to get a broken, bloody nose and a black eye. So, that's what Viktor gave him. A bloody, broken nose. Not the black eye, he didn't have time for it before the guy got dragged away to the nearest hospital.

Yuuri should have expected it when he and Viktor were walking through the farmers market (which was, thank God, fairly empty), and let Kaoru's name slip when he saw said man buying fish at a stall.

But the Japanese boy didn't expect it, at all. He always thought Viktor wasn't being serious about sucker punching the guy, but apparently, and almost not surprisingly, he was. And here they were, at the hospital, waiting for Kaoru (aka The World's Number One Asshole) to wake up.

Yuuri glared at Viktor the entire time, arms crossed over his chest, while Viktor just stared at the wall, not really caring about the consequences that were about to come.

"You didn't have to do that, y'know?" He said, eyes narrowed at Viktor. The Russian only shrugged nonchalantly. "Don't shrug at me. You didn't have to do that, at all. He's probably going to press charges on you and that's not gonna look good for you since you're a foreigner."

"He had it coming." Was the only thing Viktor said, crossing his arms over his chest. Yuuri rolled his eyes and pinched the bridge of his nose, lifting his glasses up slightly. "You're truly unbelievable. You've only been here for three months and you're already causing trouble."

Viktor stayed silent for a while before saying: "Okay, give me one good reason why he didn't deserve to get punched in the face." He finally turned to face Yuuri. "Because he apologized to me about it already."

"Apology not accepted."

Yuuri rolled his eyes and sighed. "He really regretted it when he apologized, y'know."

"Maybe he's a good actor."

"Oh my God!" Yuuri exclaimed, exasperated. "I can't believe you're this stubborn, Viktor!" Viktor shrugs, looking like a child as he does so. "Viktor, listen, Kaoru really does regret it. He's even dating a guy right now."

"Wait, what?" Viktor raised an eyebrow in shock and confusion. Yuuri nodded. "Yes."

"But didn't he say he wasn't—"

"He realized he was, and he ultimately regrets what he did to me. An apology isn't much, but I took it, even though I didn't forgive him for what he did."

"Jesus fucking Christ." Viktor rolled his eyes and sighs. "Still deserved it."

"Oh my God, Viktor."

Viktor and Yuuri stepped out of the hospital.

Yuuri was extremely relieved that Kaoru had decided not to press charges. Luckily, he himself accepted the fact that he deserved to get punched that hard in the face. Viktor smirked as he stood behind Yuuri, and the latter tried his best not to punch Viktor in the face.

"You're so lucky he didn't decide to punch you back or press charges against you, Viktor."

"I'm just happy he accepted the fact that he deserved that broken nose."

"You're unbelievable, Viktor."

"You love me."

"Fuck off."

"I'll take that as a yes."
