Chapter 2

You sat down and copied down notes in science class. It was the first day of school and already copying notes?! Gosh. This school seemed complicated and less social with the teachers. You never got to introduce yourself. But you guessed since everyone already knew each other from last year, you weren't that important.
   Miss Y/N! The teacher yelled. You jumped. Sir? You asked. What is the first element on this chart? He asked pointing with a marker to a periodic table of elements on the wall. Um.... Hydrogen, sir. Thank you. And please keep your thoughts down to earth or better yet, in this class. He said. When he turned his back, you gave him a mean look and snarled. You thought to yourself, how were you ever going to survive in a place like this?
  I just don't understand how you all survive with teachers like these. You explained to Axl. Don't worry. They're always like that on the first day. He said. That's when a boy walked up behind Axl. But Axl didn't notice and kept talking.
    But, this really isn't elementary school where we go around the class and introduce ourselves. He talked. Aha, but there is- He cut you off. I guess in high school teachers really don't care who you are, except for your grades and attitudes. Yeah, but there is-He cut you off again. You see, teachers are more strict here than in- You cut him off this time. Axl, there is a boy standing behind you! You yelled. Axl turned around. Can I help you? Axl asked. Sue wanted to know if she could borrow some extra paper. The boy said. Paper. He whispered.
     You were a bit freaked out of the weirdness of the boy whom Axl was talking with. Oh! Y/N! This is my little brother, Brick. Brick walked over to shake your hand. Nice to meet you, Brick. You said. Axl gave the paper to Brick, and Brick walked off. This was going to be a long school year. You thought.
