Peter's P.O.V

''Keep going, Peter'' this one thought kept on going through my mind, I've been out in the cold winds for who knows how long, I'm trying to find her and get her back to me, I need her back. I can't live without her, we've only known each other for a short time but it feels like a lifetime. We've been searching this place called the augrim forest, there were ruins of what was once beautiful castles, one placed which enchanted me was a room heavily destroyed, vines were spreading all around its rusty gold bars. There were dried blood stains all over the floor none of the men I was with knew about this place, except one of the old centaurs. He seemed very hesitant to tell me, but gave in and dived into the story. ''It was when King Stephan and queen Annabella ruled Narnia and the land lived in peace and harmony. There was talk of a powerful sorceress from the north, but we left it alone thinking she would stay in her region, but we did have spies sent to see her intentions, they had disappeared and no one has heard from them, I was the head guard in the army, and was preparing my men for what was to come, But, we weren't ready in time, and she came like a blizzard, destroying everything in her path, creating an eternal winter everywhere she went. I tried to protect the king and queen with everything I had, but they insisted I protect the children, so I had to leave by their orders. The last time I saw them I thought they were safe, that they would restore their peaceful kingdom and see their children once more. I was running around the castle searching for the children, I thought they were dead. But, I found them safe with Aslan at one of the many entrances to the hidden tunnels. So I went with them to obey my last orders from the queen and king. So I escaped with the children we went to the beavers and it was decided that the children would go to your world to be protected from the white witch. I always knew they would come back, but I never thought that this big of a battle would come to Narnia." When the centaur was done, I didn't know what I was feeling, but I started wondering why did the white witch do all those cruel things. My father taught me to have empathy, what was the white witch's story? "Sir there's something you may want to see.'' one of the guards led me to a deep part of the forest far away from the castle ruins, where I saw burned trail marks on a snowy path leading to what looks like an abandoned garden. I went towards it but very cautious by the dangerous environment with an abundance of ice spikes stabbing through the ground, as I got off my horse and jumped to the snowy, cold ground, I immediately see an abandoned swing surrounded by beautiful white roses, surprisingly still alive. It seemed to be a happy place where children would play happily, it seemed surrounded by a ruined gazebo which had mysterious carving on them, that I think are written in some ancient language, which seemed foreign to me when  it somehow glowed bright red and translated to English. ''what does it say?'' one of the guards asked. ''This is the white witch's backstory, her hurtful past, turning her into the cruel person she is today. We have to get this information back to camp we, have to try and make a plan to reason with the witch and find Crystal.

Back at the camp....

Lucy's P.O.V

I've been preparing for the big battle to come by practicing with my magic and being told to be careful and aware at all times. I've been taking a break from training to just do nothing, just look at the view on the cliff, take a nap in my tent, or read about Narnia's history. When I was on one of the lookout points, I saw the search group that was sent out to find Crystal coming back with no Crystal but a determined Peter. I ran down to where everyone was gathered, and we all went to Edmund and Peter's tent, I guess he found something but not Crystal. ''You guys have to hear me out on every detail that I am going to explain to you right now'' he said very sternly. Everyone was patiently waiting for Peter to speak, but I was very eager and wanted him to spill what he found. ''Evil is clearly taking over Narnia right now and it is a must to stop it. But, maybe we can try to reason with Jadis, she maybe a ''witch'' casting an eternal winter, but do we know why? I've been asking myself this question ever since my family got involved, how did she become like this, what happened in her past? Well, I think I visited a place from her past, a good and loving memory where someone loved her, to my surprise it was .............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................. your great-grandfather Aslan, Adelrik. They both loved each other very much, but Adelrik was already engaged to a human girl. Back then your family was human Aslan until Jadis cursed your entire family line. When Jadis found out about this engagement she was heartbroken and her heart filled with sadness. The place I went to there was white roses growing from her tears, which mean she's still hurting they have been surviving that long and she hasn't been able to move on. Out of her saddened heart, she did what she thought would make her happy and turning Aslan's entire family line into lions. She wants to destroy all love in this world since she can't find any for herself, which I think is wrong. We have to find her and maybe reason with her or help her move on and I can guarantee once she lets go of all that hurt she will let Crystal go to. '' Peter concluded.
