Two weeks went by and everything was fine. Bella's tried to get ahold of Jake and he's had to ignore her. She ended up coming over and Jake breaking it to her that they can't talk anymore. That was two days ago.

The boys got Jake and we all went on patrol. Then a vampire came around, but not just any vampire, it was Lurant, he was about to kill Bella when I jumped in front of her. "Bella, stay behind me." I say grabbing my daggers.

"Ah! Alexandria, what a pleasant surprise. Victory wants you dead as well." He says tauntingly.

"Hah, that's funny." I say as I bring my daggers up and get into a fighting stance.

"Alex, what are you doing? He'll kill you." Bella says grabbing my arm.

"Bella shut up. I know what I'm doing. I'll explain what I can to you later." I say not breaking eye contact with Lurant.

Sam and the others makes their appearance known after a few minutes of my stare down. When they come into view Bella looks like she's going to freak out. They rush past us towards Lurant. "Show offs." I mutter lowly so Bella can't hear. Jake stops and looks at Bella sadly, then takes off.

Bella takes off towards her house and runs inside. "Dad! I've seen them in the wood." She says panicked, I walk in just as she says that. I see Harry look at me curiously.

"Bella what the hell were you doing in the woods?" Charlie asks.

"There not bears, there wolves. Like really big wolves!" She says ignoring his question.

"Are you sure about that Bella?" Harry asks with slight panic in his eyes.

"Yeah. Alex saw them too. They were after.. something." She says.

"Well, Harry, wanna round up the guys and go hunting?" Charlie asks.

"Sure. Let me just.." he motions to the door and walks out. I walk out soon after. "Why didn't you stop her?" He asks me.

"She took off before I could say anything. And plus Sam has to give the okay about them. I can't say anything about them. I need to go back and talk to her though." I say and he nods. I walk back inside and grab Bella by the wrist and drag her outside, to her truck.

"Where are we going Alex? Lurant probably has killed the wolves and already told Victoria that we're not under the protection of the Cullen's anymore." Bella says.

"Bella, stop. Those wolves aren't bad, they've probably killed him by now. I can't tell you anything more about the wolves though. Just wait, Ima take you back to the house and show you something." I tell her as I drive the Cullen's house. Once there I get out and super speed to her door to open it.

"Whoa. How'd you do that? Did you get bit?" She questions.

"My eyes are still the normal hazel Bella. I haven't been bit, though I was injected with this serum to turn me into a Huntress. I am as strong as the strongest beings on earth, as fast as the fastest, and I have excellent sight, smell, hearing, and healing." I say with a shrug as I show her my speed and strength.

"What's a Huntress?" She asks.

I laugh at her. "I asked that same question. A Huntress is someone who hunts the supernatural who are evil. They were created to keep the balance of the super natural in order. Edward couldn't read my mind and Alice couldn't see my future at all. I'm nearly impossible to kill. I use special weapons to take down my enemy even though I don't really need them. The demons and angels have lived in peace for a longtime so I don't have to deal with them but vampires and werewolves fight all the time." I say with a shrug.

"So those wolves were werewolves? And demons and angels exist?" She asks.

"Yup and yup. Though I'm not going to tell you anything about the wolves. It's not my place to tell you." I say sitting on the steps.

"Do the Cullen's know?" She asks.

"Nope. I haven't spoken to them since they left. They said they'd keep in contact but they haven't. That's why I became a Huntress, my friends were tired of me mopping about so they made me train and get injected with that serum. But it helped me a lot. Well I should get you back home before your dad freaks." I say as I look at my watch. It's 7:30 pm.

"Yeah." She says and we get in the truck and I drive her home. We split ways when I get her home, I notice Jake standing by the woods.

I ignore him so he can talk to her. I run home, curl into bed with Paul and go to sleep.

The next day I woke up to the boys yipping signaling they're back. I walked down stairs in Paul's shirt and a pair of basketball shorts. "Oh no, she's still home." Embry whispers.

"Shut up Embry. She might kill us, she just woke up." Jared says. Then I see Bella by the door.

"Are you boys hungry? Like I have to ask." Emily says, the boys walk over and grab a muffin from Emily, I walk over and grab a cup of coffee. "Who's this?" She asks turning to see Bella.

"Bella Swan who else." Embry says grinning.

"So you're the vampire girl." Emily says.

"You're the wolf girl." Bella says stupidly. I groan in annoyance.

"Yeah, we'll engaged one anyway." Emily says smiling, she sets the muffins on the table and grabs Jared's hand as he goes to get another. "Save some for your brothers. And ladies first. Muffin?" She asks Bella.

"Sure." She says grabbing a muffin.

"So Bella what are you doing here?" I question as I finish my coffee.

"Don't answer that Bella. Just wait until Sam gets here." Embry says standing up.

"Now I'm intrigued. What happened? Wait where's Paul, Jake and Sam?" I question narrowing my eyes.

"Leave it to Jake to find away around Sam's gage order." Emily says.

"He didn't tell me." Bella says.

"So let me guess, you pissed Paul off then him and Jake got into it and Sam's breaking it up?" I ask a bit pissed.

"Uh..." Embry starts but Sam walks in.

"Jakes right, your good with weird. Alex they need you to clean their wounds." Sam says.

"Are you serious?" I question as they both walk in, they both gulp as they see me pissed off. "Sit down and don't move or you'll need a cast." I say dangerously. I run upstairs and grab my medical kit.

"She's scary." Sam, Jared and Embry say taking a few steps back.

"Tell me about it.." Paul mutters. "But I love her nonetheless."

"Even when she tries to kill us?" Jake asks and Paul just nods his head yes. I walk in with the kit and starts to clean their wounds.

"You're both stupid." I say as their wounds are cleaned and their healing kicks in.

Bella stays in the corner staying out of the way of my wrath. Her and Jake go for a walk and I get me another cup of coffee. "It's too early for this." I mutter.

"We've got training to do later!" Sam yells as I go back upstairs and crawl in bed. Paul comes upstairs not long after and lays with me.

"Are you okay baby?" He asks rubbing my back and kissing my neck.

"Yes. I'm just tired." I mutter rolling over and wrapping my arms around his neck. I kiss him passionately, we break for air and then he lays down next to me. Soon we cuddle up and go back to sleep.
