DRACO HAD FINALLY TOOK OUT Adelaide's wand the moment they stepped foot on the station. Adelaide held out her hand waiting for her father to give it to her, she held a monotonous expression on her face as she raised her eyebrow at her father's behavior. Then he let go.
"Well this is it Adelaide, your first day in Hogwarts!" He cheered, Adelaide chuckled at the sight of him and went over to her bags. "Oh don't worry about that I got it covered. Scorpius will just show you inside the train." He said. She smiled at him for a moment before grabbing her owl and following Scorpius in the train.
Scorpius walked through the train swiftly with Adelaide in pursuit. He came to a stop outside a particular compartment and went inside.
Adelaide stood at the entrance of the compartment, looking at the group in front of her.
"So all of you guys know Adelaide, right?" Scorpius said breaking the silence that had just enveloped them. "Anyways this is Lux Zabini, Leonardo Nott and Chuck Goyle. The four of us are currently in our sixth year in Hogwarts and all in the Slytherin House just like our parents."
Somehow in the pit of her stomach she felt something strange about what Xavier meant when he said; 'just like our parents'. It gave her a bit of pressure thumping in her chest almost like she's afraid of not being sorted in her parents' houses . . . which are both Slytherin. The fact that she was scared about the Sorting Hat not putting her in Slytherin is an understatement, she was pressured, terrified, and disoriented. She's a Malfoy, one of the families who's had a whole legacy of Slytherins through generation and not being sorted there was like being disowned by centuries of ancestors.
But despite the reeking anxiety engulfing her body, she managed to smile at each person in the compartment and sat beside Scorpius.

ALBUS STARED AT THE window as he waited for Rose and her boyfriend, Louis. He checked his watch again seeing it was already 10:50 which meant after ten minutes, the train will leave with or without his friends.
And as if on cue, a redhead girl entered his compartment breathless. It was none other than Rose Weasley. She sat opposite of Potter and shoved her hand in her back pack shuffling its contents. Louis Longbottom dashed in moments later and the trio was complete.
"So have you heard about the news?" Louis said while observing one of the plants he took out from his bag.
"Louis there's like hundreds of news going about as we speak, can you be more specific?" Rose said rolling her eyes at the lad.
"Well you know about Draco Malfoy's daughter."
"What? She having fun in Romania?"
"No she's transferring to Hogwarts." Right at the moment Louis said 'Hogwarts', Rose's bag suddenly fell flat on the floor releasing countless candies, chocolates and prank stuff on the floor.
"Blimey Rose, are you planning on living in the Forbidden Forest with candies and chocolates?" Albus said redirecting his gaze back to Rose.
"That rich brat is coming to Hogwarts? I thought she was in Romania studying about dragons and stuff." Rose said narrowing her eyes at her scattered things on the floor before picking each of it.
"She got kicked out because she set one of the dragons loose." Louis said.
"It's bad enough to have just ONE Malfoy in Hogwarts and now they're sending two! What next we get to sit with her in lunch and talk about how her and our family were just the best of friends in their school years? Wait, that's not gonna happen cause she's gonna be a Slytherin! It runs through her and --"
Albus simply muted her rant as he stared the railroad track wondering about the future.

"SARA NOTINGHAM," Professor McGonagall read and a girl with curly brown hair walked to the chair.
Sorting has already started and Adelaide felt self-conscious once she noticed she was the only person in the crowd standing who's just about to start fifth year. All the teens surrounding her were all first years.
"Ravenclaw!" The hat cheered as the girl took her seat.
"Adelaide Malfoy," McGonagall read and all eyes were on Adelaide as she walked towards the chair. She threw a weary glance at Scorpius who gave her an encouraging smile.
Her heart was beating loudly in her chest it felt like it was about to explode then and there. She sat on the chair, her pale legs dangling on the chair shaking, if it wasn't for her cloak the whole school would just see her tremble.
Once the hat was placed, Adelaide squirmed in her seat trying to sit naturally with her posture straight.
'Ugh, another Malfoy it's only right to put you in bloody Slytherin.' The hat barked in her mind and she suddenly felt relieved. 'But hold on there . . . You're different. Unlike your brother over there you have brains fit to be in Ravenclaw. Hmmm . . . You also have the loyalty of a Hufflepuff and the bravery of a Gryffindor just like you're mother."
Adelaide was shocked at what the hat said. 'Just like your mother' but that's impossible! Her and Scorpius' mum were Slytherin, her father said so himself. Questions filled her mind but she sat still as the hat explored her thoughts.
"Where to put you?" He grumbled loudly. She found herself sweating with suspense as the hat took its time. "Ah I know," the hat sang mischievously.
"Gryffindor!"
