I woke up early and energetically. I took up shower immediately and prepared myself for this day. I chose to wear a faded skinny jeans with a pink simple shirt. I wore sneakers just in case if it's slippery outside. I let my hair be brushed by the salty breeze.

The sun is about to rise when I sat on the steel chair. The yellow-orange color of the sun painted the surroundings.

"Good morning my dear, you woke up early today." Dad kissed my head while gently holding my shoulders.

"Today's a good day Dad," I smiled at him.

"No fears?" He eyed me.

"Hope so," I smiled.

"That's good to hear. Is it about last night?" I glanced at him.

"What about last night Dad?" I'm lost, I don't get his point.

"That smile you're wearing is the same smile I saw when you came in last night. So I guess something good happened, right baby?"

He really is my Dad. He can read me through my actions. "There is Dad," I saw him making himself comfortable on the other chair waiting for my story.

"There's a guy I met," his forehead furrowed. "Just a friend Dad. We just talked and nothing's more to say."

"Candi," he has his serious tone now.

"It's true Dad. We were just talking, however his cousin came looking for him. He said that his Mom is already looking for him. Upon hearing it, he immediately leave."

"He left without saying a word?" Trisha asked leaning against the sliding door. Her arms were being crossed in her chest.

"Actually, he said see you," I answered plainly.

Trisha beamed and walked happily towards me. "I want to meet him!"

"As if I can meet him again," I just shrugged.

"Do you think he's a good guy?" Dad asked seriously.

"Think so. He stopped those bullies back there," I answered shortly.

"Bullies? Who bullied you?" Dad raised his voice.

"Dad, it's nothing so please," I showed a tiring look. I'm really not into details when I know it would make him hysterical.

Why did I even mentioned such? Tsk!

"Besides, Trisha was there that time."

"And no one bothered to tell me?"

"Please Dad, I don't want to talk about it. Sunshine's here and we're talking about nonsense things," Dad finally gave up.

"I need to meet that man, for me to at least thank him for what he did," he patted my shoulder.

"And I really need to meet him! I know you will see him again Di," she grinned.

I honestly don't know if it is possible. Maybe yes, if destiny permits. Maybe no because first, this ship is huge; second, we have different lives to mind; and third, we just met coincidentally.

"Don't jump into conclusion," I briefly replied.

"I can feel it Di. Trust me, and trust your guts! I know you prepared yourself for today," she grinned widely eyeing me from head to toe. I instantly felt a little bit awkward.

"Uncle, will you let us?"

"We will going to have some breakfast first," then I'm left with nothing else to say.
