"When will you stop giving me the silent treatment?" That was a pretty good question. I've been giving Archer the silent treatment ever since I got off work Saturday. Today is Wednesday, I looked at Archer while putting away some of my clothes into the washing machine. Archer was waiting for me to answer him and i could tell he wasn't going to be moving anytime soon from the look of determintation on his face. I honestly didn't know what to say so I decided to play dumb.

"What do you mean? I'm not giving you the silent treatmeant."

"Don't give me that bullshit. You haven't said a word to me since Saturday after you got off work."

"Maybe I didn't feel like talking."

"For five days? that's complete bullshit. You were talking to Serena the other day and Liam!"

"So? That doesn't mean I have to talk to you. I can talk to whoever I please." I could tell this made him mad because his pretty blue eyes got really dark and stormy. Im not going to lie and say I wasn't scared, because I was. I was scared shitless. And he saw this, he saw that I was scared.

"Whatever. I'm going out." He said exasperated. He quickly walked out the small room and I finally felt like I could breathe.

He was gone. So why wasn't I the least bit happy? I didn't know why I was giving him the silent treatment. I just stopped talking to him.

I closed the front door quietly noticing that the bottom floor lights were off, I assumed they were asleep. I crept up the stairs and walked to Casey's room. I opened the door and peeped in. Casey wasn't in her bed and the panic started settling in. I quickly went inside her room and searched the entire room but I couldn't find her.

'I knew I shouldn't have trusted him. How stupid could I be!?' I slightly ran to Archers room and busted in without knocking.

"Where in the hell..." I trailed off. "is she." On Archers bed was a sleeping Casey and a half woken up Archer. I walked to his bed and kissed Casey on her forehead.

"Case, wake up time to go to my room."  Casey looked up and shook her head.

"I wanna stay with Archie." I looked at her in shock.

"Are..Are you sure? I don't think Archer-."

"Its alright Aubrey." A sleepy Archer mumbled. I nodded and looked down at Casey but she was already back sleeping.

"You can sleep in here too, if you want." I quickly shook my head.

"No I'm good. Night." I said and walked out of his room and into mine. I changed clothes and laid down on the bed. This would be the first time not sleeping next to Casey in three years. I slowly drifted off into sleep. By myself.

"You're jealous." Serena emitted. I had just finished telling her what happened. As soon as Archer had walked out the house I ran to Serena. Which probably wasn't a good idea to wake a pregnant teenager in the middle of her sleep. I gaped at Serena.

"What! No way," I shake my head incredulously. "Why would i be jealous?" Serena let out a tired yawn. She pulled the covers over her body and laid back into the pillow.

"Because you're scared Casey's going to get attached to Archer and forget all about you," Serena yawned again. "Which is really stupid considering she's your sister." I looked at Serena like a fish out the water. She had her eyes closed so she couldn't see me.

"Just go back to bed Aubrey. Everything is just fine..." She said, falling asleep.

I stood there at the edge of my best friends bed waiting for her to tell me what to do, but she didn't. I rolled my eyes and went back to the guest house.

"Where have you been?" I let out a small shriek and threw my fists up with my eyes closed. I heard a throaty chuckle and opened my eyes. Archer was standing there with amusement clear in his eyes.

I gave him a death glare and brought my arms to my side.

"Where have i been? you're the one who left so abruptly!" I said almost yelling. Archer looked at me with something hidden in his eyes.

"You're cute when you're mad." He said. I sighed deeply before I walked around him and climbed the stairs. A hand clasped around my wrist, but not tight enough to hurt. Archer pulled me to his chest in a bone crushing hug. Wide eyed i looked at his black shirt, not knowing what to do i just stood there.

"It's called a hug Aubrey. You're supposed to wrap your arms around my body." I glared into his shirt.

"I know what a hug is, I'm trying to figure out why you're giving me one." I muttered. Archer pulled back from the hug and looked down at me. He shrugged his shoulders.

"You looked like you needed one." I roll my eyes.

"I doubt there was a flashing sign on my forehead saying 'Hug me!'", I move away from him. "Night Archer." I all but ran to my room to get away from him.

"Aubrey!" Serena voice rang out from downstairs. "Come on! It's time for school." I finished pulling on my ripped jeans and a baggy T-shirt. I grabbed my phone and hopped out the door.

Yes, hopped. For some unknown reason i was extremely happy.

Serena rose her eyebrows when she saw my gleeful mood. Casey sat at the breakfast table eating some cereal, already dressed for school.

"Well isn't someone happy today." Serena stated, wiggling her eyebrows suggestively.

"Gross! Nothing happened, Serena!" She started laughing hysterically. I put Casey's bowl in the sink and picked her up.

"Let's ignore the crazy lady." I say to Casey. She nods her little head and wrap her arms around my neck.

"Aubrey!  Don't you need a ride?" Serena asked amusement laced in her voice.

I rolled my eyes, this was going to be a long day.
