I was rooted to the spot as I gazed into the woman’s strange coloured eyes. I’ve never seen eyes like them they were a blue white, like freshly fallen snow reflecting the colour of a cloudless sky, with a strange pale violet colour around the iris of her eyes. Her eyes were intoxicating and I couldn’t help the urge to kiss her tender hand. She was an intriguing woman, she definitely had many secrets, and I could see many years of sadness in the depths of her eyes. I had to fight the urge to pull her close to my chest and embrace her when she pulled her hand away and I was left watching her long hair swinging behind her form as she escaped my presence.

I couldn't believe myself, had I just invited a complete stranger to wait for me at a party? Was I stupid, there was no way I was even going to be able to go, let alone see her again. The regret growing in my heart was starting to scare my mind, distraction! I need a distraction. Lets go feed Ivory, maybe wash her too. It was still a while till the ‘Royal’ dinner that would be held tonight. A separate dinner would be held tonight where all nine royal families of each country would be gathered. This was going to be a rather long political meal.

The royal table was almost filled, most guests had now started arriving ‘fashionably late’, I pulled out my pocket watch and checked the time, it was a quarter to seven. The peasant feasts would have already begun while ours was yet to begin due to late comers. I couldn’t help but wonder and worry about the girl I’d met today, surely she Wouldn’t spend the night looking for me, I was hoping she wouldn't, she’d be unknowingly wasting her time. Gosh, how I wish those last words hadn’t slipt from my lips. I didn’t want the poor girl to be let down. I wasn’t really a peasant, I hope I hadn’t just broken her young heart. I'd decided for the first time this afternoon to dress as a peasant so that I could stroll the streets in peace. I hated the thought that I've unknowingly lied to the girl. I regretfully tore my thought from the white eyed beauty to absorb the view of the room in front of me.

The servants had set the room in a long table, somehow fitting in the members of all the nine royal families. All up when including me and my two brothers, there were a total of sixteen Princes' and Princesses from all the kingdoms. There where the two princes and princess from the kingdom of Shipton, from Myrrka there were three princesses. Craydons one and only lazy prince Sebastiaan looking as bored as ever, as well as Ascots lone prince. Monmouth had one Prince and one Princess. Balerno had one prince while Farnfoss was yet to have any heirs. The king and queen were still young and yet to reproduce successfully. Then there were me and my two brothers, the three princes' of Veritas and Mossleys Twin Prince and Princess.

*(Insert names of all princes and princess’ leave descriptions for when they interact with main characters)*

Just to prove I’d remembered the correct number of heirs I counted the heirs at the now full table, 1, 2, 3, not a seat was empty, 9, 10, 11, dinner could now begin since everyone was present, 14, 15, looks like everyone was present. Wait, 15, did I miss count? I recounted and surely enough, including my self and brothers only 15 heirs sat at the table. Shouldn’t there be 16 heirs? I checked the families and soon enough realized who was missing. The woman I would be fighting for was not present. The only Princess of Mossley was not present. But wait again, there wasn’t even a spare seat near her family, had the Lady planned to not be present at the dinner? Or was she simply forgotten?

I had a feeling that she must have been forgotten going by how her parents were willing to give her away to anyone who won the tournament. I somehow felt a small amount of pity for the woman. Though I have naught an idea of her personality, there could be a reason to why she’s been forgotten. I didn’t really want to dwell on these thoughts, instead lets see who I was seated next to. By random placement I was seated next to the young Prince of Monmouth and the beautiful middle Princess of Myrrka. Her gown was cut low and from my heightened view a could see down most of the front of her voluptuous full figure. The view sent a shiver of lust through my bones, I needed to be careful not to look to far down on her, I could see so much of her chest, it was quite improper the amount of flawless skin I could see. The lovely princess seemed to notice were my gaze was straying to. She slowly pushed her chest out, giving me a fuller view as her forest green eyes accessed my own build.

She seemed to like what she saw and she battered her long lashes at me as she purred a greeting at me, "good afternoon my lord highness, do you find the afternoon as enticingly beautiful as I do?" I knew well the innuendo her words held as I tried to sidestep her attempts on my innocence, I was only a mortal man, but I was trying my hardest to be saintlike until the night I finally married. That’s what I’d always wanted, to experience things for the first time on my wedding night. "This afternoon is rather nice, but I fear my hunger is being to darken my mood." Her eyes flashed with shock as she took the hint. She sunk her chest back and sent me a small smile as the servants brought in silver platters of many kinds of dishes. I heard the smallest snickers and my eyes flew across the table to a smirking Sebastiaan. He looked mighty amused by what he saw between the princess and if. I scowled and sharply averted my eyes from him. He may be one of my best friends but he can be so annoying when he finds something to not be ‘drab’.
