Chapter 2

Kellien drove me home, giving me a hug. “Don’t forget, Open house tonight. Dress pretty.” And with that, he winked and drove off. I rolled my eyes and headed toward my house, unlocking and opening my front door swiftly. I threw my bag down on the couch again, running up the stairs to my room. Did I even have anything nice to wear?!

I groaned and opened my closet. I threw half my cloths down onto my bed, hoping I had at least one nice dress. My eyes scanned the closet, eventually I was forced to go through my drawers. I found a little blue dress, it looked like it’d show off my curves quite well, and I smiled at that. I stripped of my clothing and pulled on the dress, looking at myself in the bathroom mirror.

I gasped. The blue brought out my eyes, making them pop all the more. My curves were being hugged in all the right places. I needed shoes and a necklace. I found a pair of silver heels, not to tall at all. I looked in my dresser for a necklace, settling on a topez stone. My mother had given it to me a few years back, though I never wore it.

I re-did my eye liner and mascara, calling it good after applying a soft shade of pink lip stick. I smiled at myself and pulled out my curler and radio, plugging them both in and jamming out to some rock station while I waited for the curling iron to heat up.

It took me a little bit over an hour to curl my hair, seeing as it was below the middle of my back. I decided to straighten my bangs off to the right, finally ready to go.

I pulled out my cell and called Kellien. “Hey, handsome! Ready to come and get me?” I asked him.

He chuckled. “I’m just pulling in your drive way now.”

I giggled. “Great timing then, Kellien.” I ran down the stairs. “Let me just grab my purse. See you in a minute.” I ran out into the kitchen, finding my purse on the counter.

Grabbing it, I headed out quickly, making my way over to a very wide eyed, jaw dropped, drooling Kellien.

I laughed and pulled open the door, climbing in. “Stop drooling, Kellien.” I said, still laughing.

He chuckled, running a hand through his hair as a light blush covered his cheeks. “You just.. You look amazing, Lyric.”

Now I was the one blushing, but I composed myself and rolled my eyes. “Let’s just get this over with.” I said.

He smirked. “Come on now, Lyric. You get to play my girlfriend. You know you’re excited..” He teased, winking at me.

I winked back, surprising him a bit. “Oh yeah. It’s my life dream to be with you Kellien!” I started giggling right after I’d said it.

“Aw, Lyric. Don’t lie.” He pulled into his drive way, driving right up to one of the biggest houses I’ve ever seen. “You so like me!” He said, licking my cheek.

I let out a squeak. “You did NOT just lick me!” I squirmed and chased after him, pushing him down on the ground and landing on top of him. I grinned and leaned in to lick his cheek but he turned his head and I licked his lips.

I blushed deeply, quickly getting off of him and dusting myself off. “Aw, Lyric. Such a cute blush.” Kellien surprised me and rubbed my cheek.

I bit my lip and wiggled away. “Don’t make me blush until we see your dad.” I said to him, grabbing his hand and letting him lead me inside.

Kellien held my hand tightly, making my tummy all fluttery again. I ignored the feeling to the best of my abilities and I literally walked right into someone.

My eyes widened and I apologized quickly. “I’m so sorry!” I said, looking down.

The man laughed softly before composing himself. “It’s alright, Lyric.” A familiar voice said.

I bit my lip. It was Kellien’s father.

“You look absolutely stunning!” He said to me as I looked up at him. I blushed softly and felt Kellien’s arms wrap around my waist, pulling me close to him.

“T-thank you, Mr. Daniels.” I curtsied, answering to him like he was some kind of royalty.

He nodded. “You two look lovely together.” Mr. Daniels said. Kellien shifted under his father’s gaze but smiled with charm. I smiled softly.

“She’s a keeper.” Kellien said to him. I giggled.

“As are you.” I said to Kellien, leaning in and kissing his lips.

It took him by surprise but he smiled. “Thanks, sweetie.”

His father smiled and made his way to his guests. I blushed.

The party was over as quickly as it started and soon Kellien was driving me home at 9’o clock.

When we reached my house Kellien pulled me too him into a hug from behind with that big goofy grin on his face. I giggled and hugged him back. “You’re not a bad fake boyfriend.” I told him as he carried me into the house and dropping me on the couch.

He chuckled. “You’re not a bad fake girlfriend. And that kiss. So passionate.” He said sarcastically.

I blushed remembering that. “That was no passionate kiss! I’ve never kissed a boy in my life!” I said stubbornly.

Kellien smirked and leaned in, brushing his lips against mine. My cheeks were growing redder. Was he going to kiss me?!

His lips pressed on mine and my body reacted, instantly pressing back as his tongue pressed for an entrance. I gasped and he slid his tongue over my own.

My best friend is kissing me!

I brushed my tongue under his and over, only to be pressed under his as he swirled his. I moaned from the back of my throat before he pulled away, grinning like a mad man.

“That was not very nice.” I said to him.

“But you liked it.” He replied, winking at me.

I groaned. “Shush up Mr. cocky pants and carry to my room to cuddle!”

He chuckled but did as I said. Kellien layed next to me and pulled me against him. He held me there until I fell asleep
