Chuuya continued to glare at me with a blatant and loathing hatred, his eyes as cold as ice, yet raging with fire. He glared at me as if I had done one of the most despicable actions in the entire universe. I only returned his stare with a confused expression. Did I just replace him?
"How could he have picked you!" He roared as he scowled at me, slowly turning his entire body towards me. I felt slightly threatened, mainly due to the fact that he was a member of the Port Mafia as well, but there was something telling me in the back of my mind that there wasn't going to be a problem.
"Calm down Chuuya, I'm here for work with her." Dazai replied, subtly shrugging his shoulders with the mildest shred of interest. He strolled over to an area in the building and squatted down, staring at something lightly pressed onto the dirt that dusted the floors of the ruins.
"I've been looking for you ever since you've ditched me a few days ago! And now I find you with her!?" He turned his attention to Dazai, slightly stomping over to him almost like a pouting child. With his height, it looked like it as well.
Dazai continued to inspect the ground, eventually standing up and walking over to me. An angered Chuuya followed closely behind, continuing to rant about how he walked everywhere to find him, how he called him and went straight to voice mail, and more about other things that just founded like incoherent and infuriated rambling.
"Well, time to plant the evidence. You still have it?" He asked me with a small smile, resuming to ignore his old partner who will not stop complaining.
"Oh, yeah, right here." I reached into my back pocket and pulled out the small pieces of evidence we needed. Someone was recently found dead by a drug deal gone wrong and prior to the arrival of the police, some members of the Port Mafia took the shells. They just so happened to match that of the person we were trying to frame, so luck was definitely on their, well our, side.
I gave him the shells cases that were found at the original scene in a bag. He nodded his head in thanks and looked at my camera.
"Want to record this? It might be fun!" He asked blissfully with gleaming eyes.
"Sure?" I replied with an unsure enthusiasm as I readied my camera. I turned it on and positioned it at Dazai to begin recording. I gave him a small nod just to let him know that it was on and he began to plant the evidence with Chuuya complaining in the background most of the time.
After a few minutes, he finished his work and Chuuya finished his trifle complaints. I stopped recording to preserve my limited battery and slightly chuckled at Dazai's paucity of compassion towards his now ex-partner. They must've heard as they both turned their heads towards me.
"What's so funny brat?" Chuuya angrily remarked, which for some reason wasn't insulting what-so-ever.
"Hey, don't call a lady that." Dazai spoke up in a relaxed voice, partially shrugging his shoulders. Another pointless argument sprouted from it and I was forced yet again to listen to it. I quickly tuned out of the conversation as I got bored of it rather swiftly.
An eternity passed and the sun began to set, the two still going at each other's throats with the midget being the most aggressive. I sat down on a piece of rubble at the abandoned building and rested my head in the palm of my hand. Out of sheer boredom, I began to record their bickering in secrecy, thinking that this was going to make a great video to look back on.
The sky grew darker and my camera began to flash its "low battery" light. I sighed and shut it down as the two continued on. Tired of hearing endless complaints, I stood up and walked over to them. They looked at me with shock and a faint confusion as I stood between the two with an irritated expression.
