I awoke to the sound of soft knocking at my door. I sat up, my camera still close to me, and rubbed the sleep out of my eyes as I briefly looked around the room. I nearly forgot, I'm in the Port Mafia's custody now. I stretched as the gentle knocking on my door continued. I crawled out of the bed, still rubbing my eyes, and began to approach the door.

As soon as I reached for the handle, it quietly turned and the door slowly opened. A familiar face peeked in cautiously from behind the door with a wide brown eye.

"What is it Dazai?" I slurred, still tired from my recent awakening.

"Oh," he replied with a surprised tone of voice while straightening his composure, "good morning (y/n). Did I wake you?"

"Yeah, you kinda did." I didn't intend to say that, it just slipped out.

"Sorry, but we have an actual job today." I turned to face the black analog clock and read it with the eye that wasn't being rubbed: 06:24 AM.

"This early?" I mumbled as returned my sight back to him.

"Yes. Now get ready to go." His eyes glanced and began to stare at my camera, hanging from my neck. He gave me a small smile. "Does that ever leave your neck?"

"It does when I see what I recorded or took for the day and generally when I go to sleep, but I guess I just fell asleep while looking at what I have." I finished removing the sleep from my eyes and started to play with my (h/c) hair. Dazai's eyes widened and an even larger grin crossed his lips.

"Are you bringing it again today?" He inquired with utter joy. I briefly turned on my camera and noticed the battery: it was almost completely depleted.

"Sure, I can bring it," I informed him as I kept my eyes on the screen, "but it's not going to be for very long. The battery is almost dead."

I heard an almost inaudible sigh escape his lips as he instructed me to be ready within the next few minutes or we will be late. I closed the door and quickly got into a change of clothes, wearing a (f/c) shirt and a black jacket. I grabbed my camera and hung it around my neck, dashing out the door to try and catch up with Dazai.

I left the wing where I was staying and into the main entry room, busy and loud with the chatters of the other members. I hurriedly glanced around the room, looking for that familiar face that I was supposed to be with. I shyly entered the area a little farther, continuing my search before bumping into someone.

"I'm sorry! Excuse me!" I exclaimed with shock, turning to see who I ran into. I could feel the heat drain from my face as I ran into a young man with light skin and dark ebony hair fading into white at the very ends. The man wore a black jacket with high collars and white fabric sewed onto the ends of it. He glared at me with his dark grey eyes and a dark grin crossed his face.

"What are you doing here?" He growled, his deep low and rough.

"I-I'm looking for Dazai Osamu." I tried to calmly explain, my voice lightly shaking.

"An outsider like you? You shouldn't even be here!" He raised his voice, drawing in attention from the other members around us. A few of them left their seats and began to form a circle around us.

"D-Dazai allowed me to join the Port Mafia." I informed him, but from the look on his face, he wasn't believing me.

"Dazai would never let someone weak such as yourself join us. What did you do for your initiation?" He demanded, a few of the members whispered in hushed voices. I could hear a couple of them reminiscing about their initiation, getting into vast and gruesome details that would make even the strongest of stomachs turn.
