"Someone has to tell her that she cannot sing for anything!" and the rest of the theatre classmates bark with laughter and I sigh,

"For god's sake, why can't I just listen to music in peace?"

"Do we have a volunteer? Taeyong! Go tell her for us!"

They shoo me and giggle and I follow their desires with a smirk,

"What is it though?" I get up and my headphones are wrapped on my neck.

"Can you tell the girl that was singing that she was horrible for us? We don't want her ruining the pla-"

"What's her name?" I grew impatient within the two seconds and just walked away with a grunt.

"Who was the girl singing a while ago?" I state in the hallway with just a couple of people working on homework or something.

"I did." A girl stood confidently in the middle of the hallway,

"Do you perhaps need to speak to me?" She walks closer eliminating our distance.

"Look, sorry to break it to you," I drifted my eyes seeing a boy dancing the robot in front of another girl.

I stifle my laughter, "but you have no talent, your voice is hideous." I causally say.

I look back to her face and she looks overwhelmed, and she ran off quicker than Speedy Gonzalez.

I face palmed myself and followed her,

"Hey girl, chill, at least you you didn't go off being a singer to have Simon Cowell tell you no. Think of this as an act of benevolence."

I smile comfortingly and she scoffed, "I don't need your negativity dude." She crosses her arm in disagreement.

"Okay, who the hell told you that bullshit that you can sing?" I breathe angrily now,

"Jung Jaehyun, you bitch."

I was shocked that she used profanity, "Want to play the cussing game?" I teasingly get closer to her,

"Oh be quiet will you? I'm out." She walks away again, avoiding me.

Hello? Is she an alien?

"But," she stopped her tracks, "you shouldn't go around spreading negativity anymore Taeyong, you're an adult now." She continued walking with her slapping sandals.

"Tch, what is she talking about?"

I walked off to meet up with my friend, Jung Jaehyun.

"Hey mate, you sure are stirring up some controversy." I say while swing my arm around his shoulders,

"Oi Taeyong-hyung! What problem are you talking about?"

"A bird told me that you said an ostrich can sing."

"Strange, you're talking to birds." He laughs,

"Yah! Jaehyun! I'm not."

"The Birds and the bees." He peeps and I mess up his hair for slipping the conversation like always.

"Whatever." I stop and gave him a smile, and he gave me one back. This kid is practically the little brother I never had.

"Hey Hyung, I'm trying out for that school play." He says as we get our lunch.

"Of course you'll get it, you sing pretty good I guess."

Jaehyun stares at me with duck lips, "Know what? I'm not auditioning then."

"Hey, I'm joking, besides, there isn't any other boy who wants the role."

"Hyung, can I sing or not?"

I nodded.

"You really can, I mean it." I say holding my heart, "Come on, who won the music award in our elementary school?"

"Oh stop it, that's such an old memory Hyung." He gushed.

"You're two years younger than me and you got that award! Amazing!" "Thank you." He smiles.

"Aish, don't thank me, thank your talent-"

I saw the girl from earlier, "unlike that girl."

Jaehyun turned to see, "Oi! It's Hobak!"

"Hobak?" I questioned with my eyebrows furrowing together.

[a/n: hello guys! Anyways.. "Hobak" is 호박 meaning pumpkin, but that's more so an insult in South Korea. Like: She's ugly like a pumpkin. bye]
