Lay's POV

I'm so broken hearted. My girlfriend broke up with me. All I have now is (y/n) my best friend who is always right there beside me. The one comforting me when I have problems. The one that let me stay at her home when my parents pushed me away just for a kid that isn't really their son. I'm the real son. And he's the adopted one. My life's so sad. I'm just lucky I have (y/n) by my side.
"Yixing-ahh!" (Y/n) opened the door
"Hmm" I sniffed
Ohh. Did I forgot to tell you that I'm crying.
"Why were you crying!" She asked while wiping my tears
"This is nothing!" I smiled weakly
"No it's not." She said while pulling me inside the house
"T-Thank you (y-y/n)!" I cried
"Just let it all out! I'm here for you!" She said then I started telling her everything that happened. Starting from the date until the breakup.
~After 20 minutes~
"Yixing-ahh! Don't feel bad!" She said trying to cheer me up
"Thanks for listening!" I smiled
"No problem! It's my job!" She pinched my cheeks
"Now! Yixing! Get ready! Dinners almost ready!" She run to the kitchen
I really love my Best Friend! As Friends. But why do I have this feeling. It's not the same feeling I felt for my Ex Girlfriend when we were still together. This feeling is more intense. What is this?. Is this what you call love?. Oh no! I can't fall in love with my Best Friend! It's against the rules. And it will ruin our friendship.
"Yixing! Go get changed" she shout
"Okay Mom!" I joked and run to my room
"Hahaha!" I laughed when I locked my room door
"Hello! What is this?" I asked when I saw a letter lying infront my clothes

Dear Yixing-ahh,

I know that your girlfriend broke up with you! And I know the reason too. As your Best Friend I'll tell you the truth. She broke up with you because of me. She knew from the start that I like you Yixing. Not just like. I think I love you. As a Best Friend. Even if seeing you two happy hurts me. I need to take that in. But I really wish we can be more than just Best Friends.
It's okay if you wanna leave me alone.

After reading that letter I didn't realize that tears are forming in my eyes. It's not sad. But it's heavy knowing that I'm hurting my Best Friend. And now. I'm hurting myself. There's a sharp sting in my heart. I don't know if it's guilt.
"Yixing-ahh! Why aren't you answering me?" (Y/n) she came in the door
"I see you saw my letter!" She looked down
"I-I didn't knew t-that y-you f-felt t-that w-way!" I hugged her
"I-I'm sorry for not telling it to you sooner!" She hugged me back
"It's okay! Atleast you told me!" I smiled
"Thank You Yixing-ahh!" She smiled back
"So........." I said
"What is it Yixing-ahh?" She asked
"Are we official now?" I asked holding her hands
"I don't know! Your the one who needs to answer that question!" She smiled
"So I think that we are!" I said as I kissed her
