Maggie's P.O.V.
I am Margret Cilia. Maggie for short. My family moved from Haiti when I was a little girl. I don't remember it from back then. We became homesick, and we moved back this January. When the earthquake struck, my family was lucky to be safe. Only I got hurt, and only my leg broke. It could have been much worse. I thank everyone for their donations, but there are still people dying from diseases that could be treated easily. I ask you to keep doing everything you can to help my nation. To help my home. Thank you.
Jennie's P.O.V.
I am Jennie Johnson. My family is from Haiti, but I was born in America. Only my mother, father, and I have been blessed enough to earn a living that barley gets us by. My older sister who is/was twenty stayed in Haiti with our cousins and grandparents so that she could help them. When the earthquake hit our nation, I never heard from any of them. All I know is that their neighbors are still searching for them. I have only heard that my cousin John has made it out with only a sprained ankel. Thank you for trying to help, and thank you FOR helping. Your contributions help save the people that were luckier than my family. They help the people of my nation. Haiti is still my home even though I have never lived there, and everything that you have done is putting a smile on my face. Thank you to every country and organization for helping rebuild my country.
Patrick's P.O.V.
I am Patrick Gomez. My mother is Haitian while my father is Mexican. I have never been to Haiti, but my mother had told me many fascinating stories about her culture. When the earthquake struck her homeland, she went crazy worrying about her family that still lived there. She works at a hospital, and everyone in my family has been helping her raise enough money to send help to Haiti. So far, we have enough money to send only two people, and we want to send ten at least. Even with our fundraising, we send a lot of money to Haiti for medicine to save those in need. I have heard that more than $50 million has been sent, and I thank everyone. You have saved many people, and you are saving more. Thank you for helping my mother's homeland rebuild its nation.
