Secrets and lies

I walked back to my room to check on Mia. She was spread out across the end of the bed snoring, or what she like to call it "loudly breathing"

I didn't want to wake her up so I went down stairs to wait for Jeremy. I let myself drift into my thoughts. He's such just a sweat guy and I don't understand why this happened. I replayed the moment over and over in my head than went back to me and Jeremy's first date. There were no signs  of this ever happening.

I mean he goes to church he's smart he's about to graduate next year. His entire life seems perfect. He even works in the family business with his dad. I passed back and forth in front of the front door. When he got here I was gonna get my questions answered.

I was snatched back to reality when I heard the door bell. "Hey babe, me in" I stomped my way to the door and open it. "You are going to tell me what the fuck is going on right now" I smiled his perfect smile. "I'll explain" he said closing he door behind him. "But first I need you to tell me what he looked liked and if he took anything hurt you or broke something else" he put hishand on the small of my back and we walked to the down stairs living room.

I didn't wait for him to talk, I spoke first. "Why are people breaking into my house asking me about you?" I sat down on the couch across from him. I was trying to keep my distance because I was mad. "My dads laundromat has been getting robbed lately" He shuffled closer to me so I moved back. "The guys that robbed us were watching the laundromat for the past month and my dad final got fed up and had one of them arrested"

"So they came here thinking i was the key to getting back at you and your dad?"

"Yeah pretty sure. Plus they stole my old phone last night so they might have found out about you true the texts" I moved closer again and he looked at me strange. It wasn't a bad look but it looked possessive, and deadly. "Are you drunk?" His voice came off as kinda judgmental. "I don't think that is any of ur business" I said trying to sound as un flustered as possible.

His hand found his way to the back of my neck, it was rough but warm. "I'm so sorry that this happened to you" my whole body was hot. He was so close to me. Our breaths were slow as he leaned in. He kissed me with such passion it overwhelmed me. When he was about to pull away I kissed him back. It was so perfect that night I felt like I was wrapped in his warmth.

"I will never let anything happen to you, I hope you believe me Divine"

"I do" My heart was pounding in my chest. Jeremy made me feel so protected and safe.
