There was no way I was letting random people touch me, let alone grab at my wrists. I turned to walk back to the change room when Kaden tugged on my shoulder.
"We're working over here, love. This is Jordan, by the way. Jordan, this is Jade." Kaden gestured to the blonde guy standing just behind him. Jordan gave me a slight nod of his head, then walked over to join another group of guys so that we could play the untangling game.
"I'm not playing." I said and then turned around. Unfortunately, the dumb ass behind me apparently doesn't understand English. Kaden grabbed me again, this time his hand circling around my leather bracelets.
"You have to participate in gym class if you want to graduate. You can't avoid it forever. What we are doing isn't even hard."
I glared at him and then the group of guys forming behind him. There was no way in hell I was going to let those guys touch me. No way. I shook my head, absentmindedly touching my wrists at the same time, an action that those piercing blue eyes didn't miss.
"Why are you still wearing those bracelets? This is gym class, you know. Come to think of it, I don't think I have seen you take them off. All I have noticed is that you like to play with them a lot... Do they mean anything?" Kaden questioned me.
"My, my aren't you an observant one. But did your 'skills' ever make you think that maybe you are paying to much attention to me. These bracelets don't mean anything to me. I think I bought them at Walmart, actually. Now, if you'll excuse me, I am leaving." I turned to march away for the third time, but I only made it as far as the hall leading towards the change room when I felt that persistent hand grabbing my wrist again. Only this time, there was a yank, and the leather cuffs protecting my wrist from the view of the world was torn off. I clutched at my wrist as Kaden's eyes went wide, looking from my wrist to my face then back again.
"What happened?" Kaden said, almost in a whisper. It wasn't said weakly though, just quietly.
"Fuck off! Don't you dare tell anyone and just leave me alone like I have been BEGGING you to do since I first met you." I stormed away, and this time no one followed.

I was sitting in the change room when I realized one important thing. My bracelet was gone. I never took it back from Kaden before leaving. If he told anyone I will kill him. I don't need anyone finding out about me or my scars, and I don't need him finding me. Him being the man that made my miserable life come to an end, and this miserable life in Hamilton begin. The man that killed my deadbeat father.
