"Honestly I don't know this a little more complicated than your typical drama." She replied then we both laughed.
"I mean I love Jake but Cameron came back and I don't know how I feel about either of them now." I stated
"Well personally I think you should stick with Jake but then again I've never met Cameron so..." she began to say
"Well maybe we should all go to dinner tonight. Me, you, Jake, and Cameron." I suggested
"I don't know Lucy it seems kind of risky. What if Cameron says something Jake doesn't like?" She wondered
"It'll be fun!" I exclaimed then Mailey just chuckled and I went to ask Jake.
"Hey baby." I said as I walked into our room to see him only in sweatpants.
"What's up?" He asked putting down his book.
"I was wondering if you would like to go to dinner with me, Mailey, and Cam tonight?" I asked as his jaw began to clench.
"Sure." He replied then I gave a a quick peck on the cheek and left the room.
"He agreed to come!" I said then Mailey and I started to get ready.

After we finished our hair and makeup I texted Cameron where to meet us and we all left. The car ride over was quiet and awkward I felt really bad for Mailey. Every now and then Mailey would ask a question about Cameron and Jakes hands would tighten their grip on the steering wheel.
Finally we arrived at the restaurant we were supposed to meet Cameron at and he was waiting for us. He was dressed up in a button down shirt with the sleeves rolled up and some flat front khakis. He looked really good for someone who just got out of jail.
"Hey." Cameron said while he smiled a bit.
"Hey!" Mailey replied excitedly then we all went in the restaurant to take our seats. We sat in a booth, I was in between Jake and walk across from Cameron and Mailey was across from Jake. Every now and then I would feel Cameron's foot brush up against mine or I would catch him staring. I didn't mind, I found it quite flattering it's just I don't know if he understands that I'm engaged.
We ordered our food and sipped on our cocktails talking about our jobs and daily lives. I felt bad for Cam, all he could talk about was life in jail. He didn't seem to mind though. Jake ranted endless sentences about his modeling career and how he might go big time and honestly I just wanted him to shut up. Sometimes he can be so arrogant and judge mental, he most definitely is not the guy I fell in love with.
We began to eat and barely talked the rest of the night. Once dinner ended we sat there and Jake was about to pay the bill when Cameron offered to do it.
"I can handle it plus you're probably broke since you just got out of jail. I'm still shocked you were with a minor that's just disgusting." Jake stated then my face flushed with anger
"Jake there's something you need to know." I stated
"What?" He asked
"I was the minor." Then he immediately dropped the pen he was signing the paper with and grabbed his credit card. He stood up not speaking a single word and began to put on his jacket.
"Where are you going?" I asked annoyed
"I'm leaving." He said, " oh and the engagement, it's off." Then without a trace he was gone. Mailey sat there shocked while Cam took out his wallet and paid for the meals.
"Why don't I drive you both home." Cameron suggested and Mailey agreed.
"Lucy you can stay with me if you want." Mailey offered but I just sat there in shock until Cameron whispered something in her ear and she nodded.
"C'mon Lucy let's get out of here." Cameron said while putting out his hand for me to take. I gladly accepted and the three of us left. Mailey and Cam kept having endless conversations while I sat in the front seat staring out the window onto what appeared to me as a blank canvas.
Before I knew it I was standing in a blank apartment that had windows around the most of it and a bed and a kitchen in it.
"So what do you want to do?" Cameron asked
"Why an I here?" I wondered
"You asked to stay with me instead of Mailey. Don't you remember?" He replied
"No I don't recall any of that." I said as I sat on the bed staring at the ground.
"Hey, it's going to be ok I'm here for you." Cameron stated while lifting up my chin with just one hand. I looked into his brown eyes and he smiled a bit but not a lot. I wrapped my arms around him tight as he held me tight.
The last thing I remember was taking off the ring, the rest is a mystery......
