Lucy's pov

I jolted awake in the hospital bed with sweat dripping down the sides of my face.

It was just a nightmare.

I looked across to Cameron's room where he laid in his bed unconscious but his heart monitor still beating. I smiled a bit knowing that he would be ok.

I laid back down and stared into the darkness when I heard doctors running down the hall way.

"He's awake." One of them said while I heard a coughing sound coming from Cameron's room.

I sat back up and saw Cameron sitting up in his bed while the doctors helped him. Once his eyes met mine a weak smile spread across his face then the doctors talked to him.

*three days later*

Cameron and I got out of the hospital and are now living in the same apartment.

"How are you doing?" Cameron asked as he plopped on the couch with me.

"Better now that your here." I replied then he gave me a peck on the lips. It's been kind of boring around the apartment after the accident. Cameron is still recovering and I'm just trying not to freak out every time I hear the name Jake or see his picture across the news. The police are still trying to find him. They are keeping us updated and last time they heard anything he was on his way to New Jersey.

*3 years later*

"Mommy!" I heard my daughter yell as she ran into my arms.

"Hey sweetie." I said as I squeezed her in a tight hug. Cameron came walking in behind her holding our baby son in his arms and our daughters twin brother was tugging on his shirt.

In the past three years Cameron and I got married and had three kids. Our twins are named Lily and Liam. Our youngest is named Quinten.

I love my family so much and every night I think to myself...

What a wonderful world.....

Well guys this really is the end of my story. I enjoyed writing this fanfiction and I loved to read all of your comments. I'm going to write a story called More Than Just A Baseball Game, which is based on real people in my life. I would love it if you would check it out and my other fan fiction called Chasing A Dream.
