Today is my favorite day of the year. I have been trying to come up with an idea for today. I finally decided to dress up as Raven from Teen Titans. I loved watching that show when growing up. It was sad that it was canceled because I would have stilled watched it.
For my costume, I wear my black leggings, black and silver long sleeve shirt with silver belt. I grab my cloak that is a deep blue to purple color, bright purple combat boots. In addition, long black gloves to top it off. I take enough time in the morning to straighten my hair. I know my costume will be thrown off with my red hair but I do not care.
I walk out of my room feeling proud of the way I look. I have a feeling I know what my friends are going to dress up as. Even Locker Forty-Two. I have not met him yet, but we have told each other our genders. I have found myself becoming more open after I talked to him.
I wait for Asao to tell me he is ready to go to school. He was dressed up as Cyborg. Our parents thought it would be cute for us to match and with a small amount of begging I finally got Asao to agree to dress up as the Teen Titans.
When Asao walks into the living room, he and I have to take pictures for mom. I do not mind and neither does Asao. We both goof off in those pictures acting like heroes. When mom is done, we start to walk to school.
"I am going to be the best dressed kid in that whole school." Asao brags. "Do you want to know why?"
"Sure. Why are you going to be the best dressed kid in the school?" I ask.
"Because my big sister helped me with my costume." He responds. That makes me feel happy.
"Aww. Thank you Asao. That was so sweet." I hug him. I can tell he means what he says. "Well I will see you later, brat" My little brat.
After I drop him off, I walk on to the high school. On the way there, I see my friends Eva and Rachel dressed as Phineas and Ferb. I think that they planed that. At least I hope so because if not that is creepy.
"Hi Eva. Hi Rachel," I smiled while walking over to them. They know why I am happy today. Because tonight is the Halloween Party, that Rachel is having over at her house. "Guys guess what I'm going to do today." I say when I finally reach them.
"Ooh what are you going to do today?" Rachel asks.
"I'm going to talk to Locker Number Forty-Two," I giggled. They know that this is a huge step for me to talk to someone new.
"I wonder what Harvey would have to say about that?" Eva askes. Oh, no I did not think about that. Sadly, Eva is right. What would Harvey think about me talking to Locker Number Forty-Two? If it were anything like how he has been lately, then he would not be happy.
Harvey and I have been arguing a lot here lately. I try many times not to but he starts it. I try to talk but he does not listen to me. He just looks in another direction or at some other chick. I just do not know how many more times I have to try to keep us the way we were. I think it is time I talk to him ... again.
"Um. Harvey I think we need to talk." I stuttered. I hated myself for doing that. I feel like I am showing him that I am weak. I am not weak!
"Yeah, sure what do you want", he snaps. Was it something I said?
"Why are you so rude to me I was just going to ask if you would flip out it I made a new friend. I guess you just do not care about that do you? I bet you don't", I yelled. I finally lost it. I do not know what to do anymore.
"Yeah you can go make new friends", he said plainly. The words that I just yelled at him mean nothing.
"Okay then", I walk away from him. I do not want to be near him right now.
