During break, you turned and asked Kai why he was in your class.
Kai: While you were in the hospital, I transferred in. So, you can say I'm a new transfer student. *winks at you*
You: Oh... I see. Hey Kai---
Kai: Don't call me that! Call me Jongin. Oh let's go to the cafeteria!
Kai held your hand and dragged you with him. Both of you bought something light and ate together before going for the next lesson. When school ended, you packed up and were preparing to go home when Kai grabbed your hand.
Kai: Hey _____! Wait for me! I'll walk home with you. (you protest) Aren't you afraid those bullies will come after you again?
You sighed and waited for Kai. Both of you walked home, laughing. Thankfully, the bullies didn't appear. As you approached your house, you stopped and faced Kai.
You: Jongin, my house is nearby. I'll walk back on my own now. Thank you!
Kai nodded and you walked back home.
