Chen noticed you turning the other way and asked you what was wrong.
You: I--- errs--- nothing.
Chen stood up and walked over to you. Kneeling down in front of you, he took your hands into his and said softly, "_____ is there something wrong?" you tried to speak but you couldn't. After another few futile attempts, Chen gave up and gave you your own space. After a while Chen had to leave. You returned his jacket to him and took a taxi home.
That night, you couldn't sleep as you kept thinking of Chen. You took out your high school yearbook and stared at Chen's photo. In the end you cradled the book to sleep. You awoke next morning to the ringing of your phone.
You: *groggily* Hello?
Chen: Hey sleepyhead! Just woke up? I'll get you some breakfast. What do you want?
You: *say something that is unclear*
Chen: What? Speak clearly.
You: Just get something simple. Thanks Chen!
After an hour, Chen arrived bringing with him a feast.
You: I thought I said---?
Chen: Something simple? Haha all these are your favourites!
Sighing, both Chen and you tucked into the food.
