The silence that followed was deafening.
"Yes," came his reply.
You gasped in shock as Tao continued saying, "Don't. Don't make a big fuss or shout. I just got away from the sasaengs an hour ago, so please." You nodded. Tao seemed satiafied amd was quiet again. Seeing Tao enjoy this quiet, you kept quiet too.
The rain slowed to a drizzle. You stood up, wanting to go home. You handed Tao his jacket and thanked him. As you took a step forward, Tao suddednly grabbed your hand.
"Are you crazy? Do you want to fall sick? Wait."
You obediently sat down again and Tao didn't let go of your hand.
As he held your hand, you felt like you were on cloud nine. Your heart raced and you knew your face was burning. As both of you sat there holding hands, you felt happy and blessed.
The rain finally stopped after an hour. You stood up and faced Tao. "Th... Thank you, I'll go now," you said. Tao nodded and asked, "What's your name?"
"_____," you replied.
Tao nodded and passed you his jacket. "_____, take this first. Don't catch a cold," he told you. You took it and thanked him.
As you walked away, you realised that that there was no way you could return him his jacket. You ran back to the bus stop, hoping he was still there. Thank goodness, he was.
"Tao! What's your number? I have to return your jacket..."
Tao smiled and gave it to you. You left after that.
