After a few burns and arguments , I was ready at 8:00 and it is now 8:10.
Claire: My baby is all grown up.
She began to wipe fake tears. I laughed and playfully slapped her arm. She led me downstairs with Mia and Amber.
Claire: Okay so if anything happens find Mia or me. I will be staying the night at Matt's but if you need me to take you home or something, you know I got you.
Me: Okay okay. Now go. I got my phone.
Claire: I think I should stay here until your ride comes.
Amber: Omg. Like Claire, let's go. I have got to get there so I can find Dakota! I need to know if she's there yet or not!
I looked at Claire and tried not to laugh because Dakota had texted me at 8:08 and said she was on her way here. Claire shook her head at me.
Clarie: Amber shut up before I shut you up.
Me: Its okay C. You can go. I'll text you when I get in her car. Okay?
Claire: Okay. I'll be by my phone until I know your home safe.
Me: Okay.
She fixed my hair quickly then left with her girls. I sat on the couch and watched South Park until Dakota got here.
The dooebell rang and I got up after a few seconds. I walked over to the door and saw Dakota. I smiled and leaned against the doorway.
Me: You look good.
Dakota: Thanks but you look better.
Me: Heh. Thanks.
Dakota: So you ready?
Me: Um yeah.
I grabbed my keys from the hook and walked out the door, locking it behind me. We got in the car and she sped off.
Me: I still wanna know why you wanted to go to the party with me. I mean there's a million pretty girls at school and most of them have been to parties thats not bithday parties.
She chuckled and turned the corner.
Dakota: Well those girls usually only like to fuck and Im not tryna fuck. Im tryna slide through. Have a drink or two. Dance then go out to eat somewhere.
Me: Well your night sounds eventful.
Dakota: You tryna join me?
I looked over at her and smiled.
Me: Sure.
Dakota: Good cause its not fun to go out to eat all alone.
